Reward Eligible?

I got banned 1 month ago from today, am i eligible to get my diamond border? or no, because im plat 2 and im wondering if i should even attempt to climb the last 2 ranks, if i dont get a border there is no point.

No, if you were still banned after August 7th you'll be ineligible for Ranked rewards. However, you'll still be eligible for rewards next season, so ranking up is still useful because it'll affect your placement next season.

i honestly feel like riot should change thier stance on this. all it does is make "toxic" players more bitter and less likely to reform

Riot isn't responsible for people being jerks. Hold them accountable for their actions a little more; not everybody has autism which makes that difficult.

is it perhaps that they ARE responsible for people being jerks, and they simply would rather patronize us and pit us against each other rather then actually fix the problem?
