Banning without addressing the issue. Is this really riots way of dealing?

I start a blind pick norm game. I Call adc and notice that the support picks pantheon......and i'm like well whatever it can work i don't dodge. game starts and immediately this guy is trolling super aggressive, Feeding, stealing minions. Multiple times i ask him to not be so aggressive because he keeps feeding and getting me killed as well. The pantheon continually argues with me and curses at me. 20 mins in i try to surrender since its an obviously lost game. And i'm just fed up with this trolling support. Long story short i get banned.

So i'm sitting here reading riots reason for banning me. And i am confused and upset to be honest. These games usually last 35-45 minutes per game and longer sometimes. So your telling .....It is completely ok to verbally abuse people and troll and destroy the gameplay for 4 other people. But if you say something about it or have a problem with it or just decide i'm just going to do whatever i want and not care since its a loss no matter how you look at it. The game is lost and so is my time at that point. Because at the end of the day this is a game and you are supposed to enjoy the game and have fun right? I mean that's what games are for.

Long story short, i'm banned. How is this justified? How am i the bad guy? How does this make sense? I have to be a robot? I can't be upset or fed up with someone who is purposefully wasting my time and causing me to not have fun? Ive been playing this game since it came out. I'm not a streamer, im not a pro, but i enjoy playing this game. This is the first and only time i have been banned from this game. And i feel like the reasoning behind this ban is flawed.

at least u got banned for something you can know about, im banned for cheating i didnt even do lol

You're totally fine to have emotions and be angry, frustrated and upset. What is a problem is when you take your anger out on others - even if you think they're breaking rules. You are not the judge, jury, or executioner here - you don't get to decide if someone's breaking the rules or not, and you certainly don't get to apply your own punishment to them in the way of flaming them.

Keep in mind that everyone else in the game had to deal with your flaming - multiple innocent players had their game experience ruined by your negativity and toxicity. I also presume that you either used hate speech or have had prior chat restrictions/bans if you were given a ban this time. Riot does not let accounts continue ruining games forever with only a slap on the wrist. If someone is continuously negative, flames repeatedly, or is toxic in multiple games - their account will be escalated through multiple punishments up to a permanent ban if it continues. Toxicity is not okay in League - no matter if you think it's justified or not (hint: Riot and the vast majority of the community think it's never justified).

So let me get this straight. Its ok for me to join a game and purpously ruin the game for the other players. And if anyone says anything about it report them and get them banned?

Depends on what people say. Some things aren't excusable regardless of what people do in game.

Your punishment is 100% based on your behavior. There is no justification for poor behavior in chat. If they misbehaved, they'll get punished. If you misbehave, you'll get punished. It doesn't matter who started it, both of your punishments are independent of the other.

And just to be more specific what i recall responding in chat was as follows.

I asked you to be less aggressive and you wont listen to me and you keep feeding bot lane. Please go help someone else i don't need you down here because you are just feeding.

that was mostly the context. And then towards the end i was getting chat abused because i had already given up and i typed. I don't care if we lose i already tried to surrender.

How is that flaming?

You should have the logs when you log into the client; I recommend posting them here.

It is not a "this is either a fact or blaming". Something is more than capable of both.

"you want to feed". "you keep diving and not noticing im getting stunned to death wtf do you want me to do". "you know how i know you are a noob". "you don't ward you aren't supporting".

Literally over 50% of your chat is you blaming and berating others because they're bad at the game. That's not acceptable.

But that is my point the guy isn't bad at the game. He was doing it on purpose and what he was typing in chat proves it.

It doesn't matter if you think he's inting, trolling, etc. You have no right to ruin the other 3 players' game by forcing them to watch you flame someone else.

Funny how you're so harsh on your opinion when it comes to something people should have the right to do-- especially since there's a mute function-- but disagree with the facts in regards to people who actually ruin games.

When things are not against the rules, it is not Riot's fault if you feel your game is being ruined. As an analogy, if I go outside and see someone walking the wrong way on the sidewalk and that just oh so ruins my day, tough. There's no rule about which way they can walk on the sidewalk, and I need to either get over it or move somewhere where that rule exists.

Likewise, you campaign so much for a fixed meta that's enforced and that simply does not and will not exist - thus if someone ruins your game by playing off meta, tough. They're allowed to do that, and you need to either get over it or move to a game with an enforced meta.

And thats fine when you are trying. And trust me this has nothing to do with his score it was his actions and what he was typing in the chat which the logs don't show.

Diving under a turret 2 v 1. ulting into a 4 v 1 and 3 v 1..... He would initiate 2 v 2 fights and then run away with full health.

Hopefully the numbers are reversed, but depending on everyone's HP, his actions might be justified.

And if he was feeding intentionally, why bother calling him out on it? it serves no purpose.

Almost always near full health..........And coming from a lane where he was feeding as "support pantheon" what do you think his items looked like?
