i get punnished for going afk, when team is trolling?

Dear Riot,

I am writing this post because i am pissed off by the tribunal!..

yesterday i was in a 5v5 ranked battle and my teamates were trolling the game (feeding. flaming ect.) i kept my cool for the 20 min. mark and pressed surrender since i don't wanted to play with them anymore. (they were all muted btw) when they all declined surrender and kept trolling.. i decided to leave i just didn't want to be there anymore since it was a waste of my time.

when i logged in this morning i noticed I GOT FUCKING PUNNISHED FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR!? So when i leave for a sertain reason in a game that was a losing game for sure i get punnished.. I can handle critics, i can handle bad behavior and take the los in the game... but yesterday i just snapped. so i left.. said nothing.. just left.. couldn't report the behavior ofcourse (hoping enemy team would be polite enough to report)

But no!!.. just report me afk without any reason to feedback WHY i left they punnish me! with 5x 5 min extra que time on lower priority!.. WTF!

in this community the tribunal will never be functional

Going afk is breaking the rules and the consequences are laid out for you beforehand. You chose to break the rules and decided to risk the chances of those consequences. It doesn't matter for what reason you did it and the teammates you abandoned have the right to report you.

Ummmm....just because your teammates where it rolls is no reason to afk. It immediately puts you in the wrong, there is never an excuse and as you said you did it willingly and purposefully, the punishment is warranted.

This is one of the only situations I've seen that I actually feel for(assuming you are talking about a low priority queue like it sounds like). But I really don't see any practical way for riot to handle it differently. If that situation could be identified on the fly then it would have been and those people would be instantly punished. With the time it takes to build a case there also isn't really anyway to retroactively remove it either since by the time they get punished you would most likely have played out the 5 games. They could I suppose remove it from your record later. But you don't get leaverbuster punishments for individual leaves so that punishment was for more than just that 1 game anyway.

You should also note that this has nothing to do with the tribunal. It has been down for over a year, and leaving wasn't handled by the tribunal anyway.

I would like to state that people who troll and lose the game for their teammate should get just as much punishment as afk people. Just because I leave the computer for five seconds to answer the door, yet my team still won the match, doesn't mean I should get penalized. It doesn't make sense to those of us who don't want to quit the game, yet something interrupts us for a minute. Getting the warning shouldn't punish me first time.

Anyway, you left the game and you're thus punished. By leaving you made it impossible to win, and I'm sure not all of them were trolls and flamers.

You also made it impossible for yourself to report them, so overall I'll give you a big pat on the back and tell you that you screwed up big time.

Let's face it we all have bad games But sadly is how it is it is Forbidden to go AFK or Leave the game(Rage quit) during a game that is like Rule#1 of the Summoners code, even if you're team is trolling you the have the obligation to Play the game beginning to the end Untill one either surrenders or a Nexus is destroyed No excuse whatsoever it is after all the Summoners Code....
