1 day into season 6 and I am banned for 2 weeks? Because of a verbal confrontation in a video game with someone who is equally as verbally abusive to me as I was to them? I find it amazing that you create the system that links 2 people who can't equally stand each other in a game together, even after I have muted him. Tell me something why not create a system where if I never want to play with a player again, it would allow me to never be matched with that player? 2 week ban. And then its just a matter of convincing third party members to just report someone. Do I not get an opportunity to appeal this???

It doesn't matter what the other person does. It only matters what you do. Retaliation is punishable.

In the end both deserve punishment.

Mute. Report. Move on.

Do not engage with a negative player.

this is what they want.
it will also get you banned.
Why lower yourself to their level?

During post game right click on player > Block Player.

Keep in mind, it's not a guarantee in ranked games, and doesn't really affect pre-mades.

Both deserve punishment? An individual chooses to respond to the comments another person is chastising them with and he/she gets punished for it? Why was I in this game to begin with with that person? I had already banned them from speaking to me before and then I get another game with them? And why is it that when I BAN them from speaking with me they can still talk to me next game? Why is it that with the millions of people that play this game Riot still reverts to forcing people who despise each other in game to play with each other? Look I am not saying I'm the poster child to Catholicism here, but its 1 day into the season, this bans ridiculous. 2 weeks? And yet it still fails to address the issue of why it is that people are continuing to be toxic to each other. Mute? Report? Move on? Really?? because I can argue that absolutely ANYTHING someone says in this game is offensive to another, regardless if one sees it as "positive reinforcement" it could be defined as verbal abuse by another, or harassment. Its a purely subjective reporting system.

if you had the person muted, why in gods name did you unmute them? sounds like you're just asking for trouble.

I didn't unmute, for some reason whenever you mute someone it only functions for that game. The next game it can still show as muted and he can still talk to me. And why doesnt the mute funtion work as a "Don't get stuck with this guy in queues" button?
