Drunk Leagueing :: Death Sentence??

Hey guys, So recently I was permabanned for bad behavior during a game or two I played while I was inebriated. I wont say that justifies my behavior, but I think a permanent ban might be too harsh for my first ban ever. People can get off with probation for killing people while drunk driving but extremely rude behavior for a couple games can get you permanently banned?? Obviously, this comparison is extreme but I would like a less harsh sentence for one of my few offenses (and only punishable one) especially after sinking so much time and money in the game. If not, that is okay, I can accept the consequences and start over if I have to. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I think the only thing that will save you is if you are a female. They can't consent to anything while drunk. So if you downloaded a new patch and hit "I accept" to the terms and conditions while drunk, I don't think they can legally punish you in this case without victim blaming..

What exactly did you do/say? It takes some very extreme circumstances to be escalated immediately to a permanent ban. It's also possible the ban was for something unrelated. What did the body of the email you received say?

End result however you ruined the game for other people. Ban likely deserved. The people you angered dont care how drunk you were, they only care that you ruined their game.
