If a player on your team hovers a champ in champion select why is riot games allowing players on your team to ban that champion... seems real simple.

They don't want that champion in game. If the champion's last pick, they don't want to risk the enemy getting that champ.
Because if we can't lock it in first, I don't want to risk the enemy grabbing it first?
I think you should allow them to ban your champ. Lets you know to dodge at the last second and make them suffer.
Having said that, can we stop using "hover" thats not what you're doing and it means something else.
Last pick and hovering a very strong champ the enemy team is almost sure to firstpick? Let's make it so your team can't ban it and the enemy can be sure to get it! Yeah real simple...
I love banning my teammates yasuo especially when he is top. You are gonna play a champ thats not gonna get ganked all the time and win the lane...
