Should we be able to report players in champion select ?

2 times today i have had the amazing experience of someone getting autofilled support and asking for mid. When denied they proceed to lock their one trick zed or whatever as support. Saying '' I will troll if you don't dodge '' in chat. Both those times someone dodged.

Question is these players get off free and the dodger gets the penalty. I know you should stick with the game so you can report him but people won't sacrifice 40 minutes of a boring open mid feeder on their team and -20 lp just to report 1 guy.

Should we be able to report these people in the champion select or after ? I think so.

Riot will ban you for trashtalking but when people actually ruin the game with actions and not words they tend to get off scott free majority of the time. Which is super annoying to think about.

i think if implemented, it would solve quite a few problems, but it may also create them :/ this could be taken advantage of by trolls as well, they could get into champ select, report everyone, then dodge and repeat the process.

What is reporting them in the pre game really going to accomplish? If someone dodges they still get the penalty. If reporting prevents a penalty then people will use it to troll and delay matches.

wow, that's a great idea! this post should be on the top RN, there's lots of good things u can take from this idea and only some things could go wrong. I think that one of this things is that well, riot will have to release a new type of AI for this specific type of report.

You can take screenshots, dodge, and then send in a ticket. This will gurantee the troll gettting seen by a rioter and most likely getting punished

Saying your going to troll is punishable.

Playing Zed support isn't.

I just got stuck with what I call a dumbass team auto-filled support, not gonna play a support simply because im not duo and im not feeling it I feel like ill be extremely toxic if I have to put up with the bullshit of a team that isn't serious about winning.
