I got banned because I defended myself from flamers

So I had a strike where I called someone a retard cause he kept on feeding and didn't even talk. Another strike made a bit more sense because I got mad how my team wasn't listening. They continued to suck and took my jgl. Not only that but they said that I didn't have to go and stuff when I had to do something and they started complaining and flaming against me cause I had stuff to do. The last strike I got super pissed cause they flamed on my friend and i defended him. Not only that, but the players who reported me started it and got me really mad like any normal human being.

Please Riot. I have worked so hard on this. I will turn off my chat and never flame again because that last strike and the first strike didn't make much sense. The first was because feeders drive everyone crazy and the last was because these kids kept on bothering me and my friend and telling us to stop flaming when I didn't even flame, I just told them to stop at first and play the game, but they continued to offend me and my friend so I stood up for my friend. I'd just like one more chance at this. This last one was 100% a troll because they tried to get us mad so they could report us.

That's not defending yourself from flamers. That's you harassing someone because your pride couldn't handle a random person you've never met before nor see again being bad at a free online game for half an hour.

That's not defending yourself from flamers. That's you harassing people. Again. Also, these two games alone would have been more than enough to get punished on any behavior system from Riot.

You know, looking at your previous track record, I doubt your friend was flamed very hard at all. Sure, there might have been a few rude remarks, but I'm casting shade on your recollection of events. Also, mute, report, and move on. That's how defending works.

Would be wise to show us your chat logs so that we can have some sort of evidence. I cannot tell you how many times ive seen people say they were just "defending" themselves when their chat logs show nothing but racist/homophobic, or other derogatory terms. Thats not defending yourself. The only way to defend yourself in this game is to mute and report them. It stops the conflict (with the chat) and just gives the system more evidence for you. When you throw a temper tantrum because people aren't listening to you, or aren't playing the way you want them to play then you only have yourself to blame. No one needs to follow your orders, you are not the boss in this game so why act like it? You can be polite and try to communicate, but that moment you start bossing people around out of nowhere is where the problem starts!

It doesnt matter if you have trolls in your games. We all have them and yet most us won't resort to breaking the rules. Just because someone was doing something worse than you doesnt mean you should get off the hook. There is a saying Two wrongs dont make a right, and this is true with this game. Calling someone names isnt going to change their attitude towards playing and will more than likely cause more problems, so why do it? The point of the game is to try and win. Some games are just unwinnable whether its from people not playing their best, trolling, or anything in between that doesnt give you the right to harass them because of it. We all have bad games and sadly some people will troll to release their frustration. Its not right but the only thing we as players can do is report the player. Stop playing the He started it card because that stops working as a child and its just sad and pathetic when an adult does it!
