Riot needs to step the f up and actually ban trolls.

As always, people forget, what defines trolls is a very loose concept. Not saying that actual trolls dont exist, but there is a very fine line for what makes someone a troll, trying to create an automated system for it will be impossible. It will have to be something riot has to have real people look into case by case.
Honeslty that seems like alot of work just to satisfy a small player base. It is alot easier to just let the number of reports coorelate with banning. Its not the most fair system but it works the best atm.
FYI: I have been called a troll just for picking a champ that people didnt want me to play. Should I be banned for that?
