2 week suspension for chat

On 10-3-17, I received a 2 week ban after a game for saying "kys" 2 times to my good friend who I was qued up with. I usually use Skype with him but at the time I couldn't, so I was typing, and joking around calling him bad and saying to kys and without warning or any form of a previous suspension (chat bans as the suspension faq says) I went from being honor level 5, to my honor level dropping and receiving a 2 week suspension. I see people leaving in games all the time and clearly losing the game for their teams, and they have to wait 5 minutes before each que for 5 ques equating to 25 minutes of waiting, so I dont see how saying something in chat to a friend 2 times gets me a 2 week ban. Im fine with a chat restriction for 10 to 25 games, but I never say anything such as racial slurs or anything like that, and im usually not toxic besides giving my team suggestions. I dont understand how leaving RANKED games is ok and people only get a small penalization, but talking to a friend in chat results in a 2 week ban. Never before have I been warned by riot in anyway, so my thought process is that a chat ban is much more adequate towards the situation as a 2 week ban (20160 hours) is much worse than the low priority que (25 minutes) when leaving and losing an entire team a game in my opinion is a much worse offense.
