Got chat restricted because I got flamed -.-''

This is the log of my part of the chat, have to say that the guy started pinging like crazy in a 1.5s pattern so he could spam continuously, while I got upset enough to actually act in a manner I shouldn't getting chat resctricted because I got flamed feels batman -.-'', would like to know other ppl's opinion on this.

Oh btw, never had I been banned or whatever in league first time, because I normally ignore flamers and such, but this guys drove me crazy.

How the game went in a nutshell:

I gank top because he's having problems the gank fails because we get counter ganked, but no one dies, i go back to farming doing my path bot lane where i go and gank, I'm at chickens when the guy starts pinging like crazy and flaming me in chat, as you can see at some point in that log (the one riot gave me, so i could see the reason i got chat restricted), the guy just continues pinging to all hell every 1.5s, but the thing is, hes just pinging and pinging and WE CAN'T MUTE PINGS RIOT, so yeah, at some point even the bot lane tries and reason with the guy, doesn't work ofcourse. At some point I juts give up, ask my team to open mid, because we were at 15 mins, no one does it, and enemy team didnt group mid either so yeah I was just at base, but I hate doing nothing, come on I come play to have fun not to look at a screen for 45 minutes while doing nothing, and I wanted to play, but the guy just continued pinging, PING PING PING PING PING PING PING, so yeah I lose my cool and just run it "down mid" to get the enemy fed so the game ends faster, never before had I understood the expression, yup now I got the whole meaning of it, even a ban to complement it.

Give me your thoughts guys. Oh and it says Game 1 but that was the only log RIOT showed me.

The chat restriction is the 1st step when being punished.

You dont necessarily have to be flaming someone in chat to get a chat restriction. You can be reported for afk, intent feeding........if your reports add up and they feel you need to be punished you can receive a chat restriction. In other cases you can even receive a more serious punishment just based off of the severity of your actions.

Even though the other guy was spamming pings....you went afk and then you started to intent feed. Im sure it was not just this game that got you the punishment.........even if people did nto tell you they were reporting you...you have to had other reports built up from past games.

You yourself sad you have never been punished before so to me its pretty clear that is why you only got the chat restriction.

Telling someone to stfu is reportable....and even if that was all you said in this game, it was enough if this is the game that put you to the threshold or reports that caused them to finally punish you. So that could also be the reason they chose chat restriction.

You got chat restricted because of how you responded to the flaming. If you reported the flamer though, then eventually they will be punish. There is no need to respond to toxicity with toxicity of your own.

Yeah I know the thing is, I never feed intentionally, or even be afk, even in lost games, I like the challenge of being behind, only thing I could be maybe reported for is when I have butthurt players on enemy team that I camp or just outplay, and we both kind of start that game of exchanging jokes about the plays of each other -.-''
