Okay so Riot? Your tribunal system isn't working. People can be as toxic as they want, and still report me for being angry. I was just harassed all game by a Jax. Game 1 rishy: But... rishy: It's no cigar. rishy: If you don't get that rishy: it's because Graves used to have a cigar rishy: and the US is the only servers that don't have it rishy: because it is rated T for teen rishy: and rishy: yeah rishy: fucking %%%gots complaining and shit rishy: why rishy: thx tho rishy: :) rishy: gank me again I dare you rishy: Jax cmon rishy: do something rishy: lol rishy: toxic af rishy: lol rishy: nj rishy: feed me more rishy: you died rishy: again rishy: Jax rishy: you can't 1v1 me rishy: lol rishy: sure kiddo rishy: why should I rishy: you've always had your team with you kiddo rishy: sure man rishy: jax booty tickled rishy: okie rishy: sure kiddo rishy: bro rishy: omg rishy: that wasn't even a 1v1 blah blah blah rishy: wah wah wah rishy: lmfao rishy: I was 3/4 rishy: besides I didn't even auto I danced rishy: 1v2 rishy: and you died rishy: please rishy: go home kid rishy: 9/4 rishy: 7/5 rishy: ? rishy: calm down kid rishy: you have no excuse lmfao rishy: lmfao rishy: you don't know how CS and jungle gold differ rishy: just rishy: s rishy: stop rishy: cause you talked shit all game rishy: Them soraka full heals rishy: btw you're playing Jax bro rishy: idk why you tried to brag in the first place lol rishy: lol? rishy: You literally can't win rishy: Wtf are you wasting time for rishy: and graves isn't even close to highest win rate kiddo rishy: so.... rishy: I did rishy: dumbass rishy: k kiddo rishy: k This makes no sense. I barely said anything. He said everything. He can make me as mad as he wants with no punishment. What do I get for this? A perma ban. I have been improving my attitude as much as possible. I don't know what else I can do about being mad. Can you make an option to turn off the chat? That might help people? Or! how about you don't add an optional filter and remove cussing from league entirely. It's T for teen right?"Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language." That is from the rating website. INFREQUENT USE of STRONG LANGUAGE. People are constantly harassing people no matter what, your tribunal system isn't working at all. Even if it's based off of how many games you get reported for. I could say one word and get reported just like that, because someone disagrees with my opinion. It's happened before, it's not surprising. Thanks for allowing me to play your game. Hopefully I can recover my account, thanks Riot. Bye. If only there was evidence of what Jax said to even trigger me.

UPDATE: Riot employees sent me what seemed like an automated message and listened to nothing I've said. This is all they had to say completely ignoring everything I said..

"Hey rishy,

Your account has been permanently banned after being escalated through multiple levels of punishment by our disciplinary audits.

To see the most recent games which led to this action, please log in to the client to view your reform card. While we do our best at Riot Games to encourage reform, we permanently removes players who continue to create negative experiences from our game.

This action is only taken after repeat punishments and we will not lift the suspension under any circumstance.

Although this marks the end of the line, we're confident that with some reflection you will be able to avoid this kind of situation with whatever new games you decide to play.

Best of luck in your future endeavors.

I am glad to inform you that they fail to realize that I have been reported and gotten banned/chat restrictions for asking someone to do something in the game NICELY. They fail to realize how faulty their tribunal is and refuse to do anything to fix it. Players still can simply report someone for asking them to do something. People can report you even if you haven't said a thing and Riot still manages to fit time in to ban you for it.

You used hate speech. Ban deserved. Nothing they could've said to you makes it okay to use that language. Bye! [slayer-jinx-catface]

"rishy: fucking %%%gots complaining and shit"

3 Vulgar words and one is considered extremely offensive. you use words like that the system will be punishing you. Also the sheer amount of chat inputs is a red flag to the system. Calling people kiddos all game and asking for 1v1 makes you look like a toxic idiot.

What other people do or say is irrelevant to your behavior. Report them and move on, they will be punished if they did something bad. You only get yourself in trouble by arguing with them.

Hope you can reform; If this wasn't perma.

There is no tolerance for hate speech. What jax did or said has no bearing on your case. Retaliation is not acceptable either.

It's not helpful when you can't see what the other person has said.

Most people here are under 15 I'm assuming, so you're not going to get their support. No offense, but they've been babied to death in their overt-sensitivity.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and also assume that many of us have said the words, "fgts, f**king or sht" more than we would like to admit. Hate speech? Don't even go there. It's the context. If you think that's hate speech, well my my, just wait until reality smacks you right in the face.

I've heard homosexuals use that word around me, and I live in a community where it's quite common to be gay. The rational ones have absolutely no problem with that word being used and even go so far as to use it themselves when describing someone else because it's all about context.

Let's not pretend to be law-abiding citizens that haven't broken any moral code whatsoever. (Sorry young teenagers, you're not as perfect as you think you'll be). Retaliation is not okay. Sure. I agree, to an extent. But provocation (extreme provocation) is not acceptable either, nowhere near as acceptable as retaliation, even outside of a video game. Example: You call someone a racial slur in an intentionally harmful way, at the minimum it was once, but you went on and on (to the point where the person could probably file a restraining order against you) and now that person has either A. Told you to "fk off" or B. Knocked you on the floor. Now option A is quite normal, but for some reason, that's punishable (probably due to the automatic system). Option B can get the person in trouble, but we wouldn't be hating on them as much as we hate on people for retaliating online.

Why is that? It's because we all know that the people who start it, wouldn't have started it to begin with. It would have never escalated to that situation if it weren't for the safety of non-confrontational insults.

Should retaliation always be allowed? Well, yes and no. It depends on the situation. It's not black and white like the majority here wants or thinks it to be. Chat logs should be recorded and stored. They should be open to public so that we can come to a more accurate decision than an automated robot that picks up key words and whatnot.

The boards should be a place of actual reformation for those who might end up slipping up into the vortex of toxicity that seems to occur almost every game. It shouldn't be a place of double or triple punishment where you spit on those who have failed to abide by your standards, because according to you morally sound folk, that is in a sense, retaliation.

Rather than dwelling on your ban, take some time away and reflect. Not just on what you said, but why you said it and how you can keep yourself from speaking too scathingly in the future.

A month later after my own ban, and I'm here advising people like you on how to best move forward. I feel a bit better doing so, even if it doesn't quite fill the void left by losing an account.
