Reported for advice?

Unluckily got matched with a trio in my last game. Seems to happen a lot while waiting for Solo Que to come out. We had about a 12 kill lead because the jungler was camping the Mid Lane. Their party consisted of Jungle (Xin), Mid (Pant), Support(Leona). After laning was over any time the top or myself would ping they are going to a side lane to clear it out and back ping the team. They would back up a bit, then a pant ult would be incoming and they would pile into a 3v5.

"Can you not fight a 3v5 pls, we will lose our lead quickly?" "Then why dont you stay with the people carrying you?"

I let that slide with no response, because it clearly wasn't worth getting 3 man reported.

After the 2nd time this happened i gave up on leaving the team and just stayed with them. When a Banner wave was about to take our inner turret i pinged i was going to clear it and typed, "We need to clear out the side lanes before pushing mid more." Which xin replied, "you fucking noob, stop telling us how to play, you're not even doing your job. 3 man reported."

At what point in this community did giving advice become flaming or being toxic. I'm just tired of seeing players try to help their teammates with a matchup or build order and get an ignorant reply thrown in their face.

Riot please hurry with Solo Que. Rant over.

3 man reported doesn't do any harm to you if you didn't do anything wrong.

Reading this consolidated thread will probably help you understand the reporting system a bit better.

No need to stress against the "premade report you" phenomenon.

Since a long, long time ago.

I'm sure you didn't just give advice, unless you count flaming them back as giving advice.
