I got permanently suspended out of the blue.

So I was playing today like I normally do, I'm a support main running around the rift as Bard. Me and my adc are having a good time, then suddenly I'm kicked out of the game. I remember thinking "Hey, that's weird I usually have a really good connection." So I try and log back in and i'm greeted with;

"This account has been permanently suspended. Please check the email address associated with your league of legends account for more details."

Well I then go to my email and this seconded message is at the top of my email;

"Greetings (My username),

Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use. You can review these terms at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofuse

Due to the severity of this violation, your League of Legends account has been banned until Sun Feb 22 22:22:22 UTC 2105

If you have any questions, contact our Player Support team at https://support.leagueoflegends.com/home

Riot Games Player Support."

Now i'm not angry at this at all, just a little confused. I never attempt toxic behavior and try to be as nice as I can, so I can't for the life of me recall anything that would warrant a ban like this. I've already submitted a ticket and am currently waiting for a reply, but I did a Google search and saw some people saying I should post this here.

The only thing I'm getting is a possible payment error, that isn't an absolute, good luck, hope you find the problem.

It looks like it's a billing issue. Contact support and they can give you the details.

Best thing to do is to contact riot support website and submit a ticket there.

Not guaranteeing an unban, but hopefully you'll be able to at least get an explanation from a Rioter who can probably pull something up for you.

Permanent bans at almost never for one time things. Its most the time continuous acts in the game that have led up to a permanent ban.

Also remember that toxicity and trolling are only one of the few ways to receive disciplinary action from the system-- hacks, exploits, cheating, and much more conflict with Riot's Terms and Agreements.

Or, as Jamaree stated, it could even be a payment error. Again, submit a ticket and see if you can't get an answer or two to your questions.

Maybe Riot is just upholding this section of the terms of use stating they can terminate any account for "no reason, with or without notice to you."

Basically, it sounds like you had a credit card payment charged back, which effectively means Riot is out money. Send in a support ticket and you should be able to get it cleared up.
