Try submitting a support ticket. It might be that the automated system picked up a lot of words out of context that usually indicate toxic behavior (inting, report, toxic, bad, silver, etc.). Support will either tell you why you got a chat restriction or remove it. Worst case scenario is that you have to deal with the restriction for a few games, which shouldn't really be a problem if you don't show toxic behavior in the future.

They call this spamming. I know it is not by definition but I have experienced it and have seen others. They will claim your chat is excessive spamming and that it inhibited your ability to play which is why you did poorly. (Though even if you won and got a 12kda like one guy I know, they would say the same thing)

Just stop chatting. That is seriously the only way you will be safe.

I think that attitude is ridiculous. Its a team game and you are saying that communicating too frequently warrants a chat restriction.

No. You should get banned for being toxic simple as. If you don't say anything toxic you shouldn't get banned. If people don't want to hear you they should mute you. Simple as. Cultivating this snowflake culture and somehow justifying every decision regarding toxicity that riot make is a vapid shallow approach to a non issue. Common sense seems lost these days.

Now you just insulted me even more. What is most strange, is I called someone childish and got banned from the forums. But you can rip on me and it is perfectly ok.

I am against all bans for chat personally. There should be a perma mute button in settings that you can turn on if you do not want to deal with any of it plain and simple. To FORCE people to interact, even for a minute, I think it is wrong to expect and enforce 0 conflict.

That said, if you and others do want to force chat on people, and want bans for "toxicity," there has to be a set line. Right now it is only how these moderators or punishment reviews "feel" based off their personal culture and this is wrong.

I get banned for calling someone childish, while you call me insane and my thoughts ridiculous and dumb. Not that I care personally, but things should be fair if they want to enforce this.

Ok, then let OP write to supp and ask. They will say just that. Auto system amybe would not recignise that but if someone wrote a comment in report explaing what he did someone would read that and punish him

Then we're simply talking about a lack of honesty on the part of Riot support employees, not as a personal failing, but as a policy. That's been well documented and recognized on these boards for a long time. In any case, the point remains. He didn't do anything wrong.
