League Community becoming more and more toxic

Its unfortunate that a game as fun as league is constantly plagued by the toxicity of its community, competitive gaming will always attract a certain level of salt but league gamers take it over the top. Of the last 20 games that i have played there has been at least one player on the team consistently harassing either an opponent or a teammate about skill level or play style, which generally results in retaliation leading to the entire game being more about come backs and trash talk than about plays and strategies. I know that Riot has said on several occasions that they are working towards a more sportsmanlike community through its reporting system but from what i've seen the number of toxic incidents hasn't reduced whatsoever, in fact they seem to be increasing...
