Not Sure Why I Got Banned? (Moved from Help & Support, as Riot Suggested)

I got an email (EMAIL SHOWN IN POST BELOW) saying i got banned for "actions i have performed on my account", with no specifics.

And then I log in here to see I got a board ban for a post because I used the word "boosting". I confused "smurfing" with "boosting" (as i was referring to using my own, second account, summoner Heathathon). I was never involved in boosting of any kind, and I'm not even sure if the account ban and board ban are for the same thing? I have not broken any rules or done anything else that could be construed as suspect.

I have never logged into anyone else's account, nor has anyone besides me ever logged into my accounts. Perform a check on all IPs used on my accounts for the last year - there will only be one. And there will never be any other accounts logged into. You can also check play style, button configurations, items, whatever.

Not sure if my own two accounts are causing this confusion or what, but it should be obvious that I did not "boost". You can see that I stopped playing and started playing again on both accounts always at the same time for years, along with all the above.

I have a ticket open already, but... Any advice?

An account ban and a boards ban are separate things. You can discuss a boards-related issue with the moderation team at the Boards Discord, and we'll be happy to help you out as much as we can.

If you got a ban for actions performed on your accounts, your best bet is to just want on that ticket. It's possible that your account was compromised and banned for your protection (in which case they can help you resolve the situation), or it may be that something has thrown up a flag for activity that isn't allowed by the Terms of Use. Player Support will be able to assist you better than we can.

Dude you op.gg profile looks very odd... You have a tremendous losing streak going on and the mmr of a mid silver but in B3. Hell your mmr is like 2 tiers above mine and i'm just getting into promos to silver.

The "boosting mistake" coupled with your extremely odd game play might be the reason. It also could be a ban for trolling... like I said your profile looks really suspect.

so they're probably grabbing you for account sharing but you'll need to wait on your ticket before we know the specifics. They're false bans semi frequently but I've never seen false ones for account sharing.

That summoner looks pretty odd too. You first 4 placement matches combined score of 1/28/6, kill participation 0%, 5%, 30%, 30%.

You lost your first 7 games, you first win is with a champion you had never played in ranked.

You've played 38 games all season, have 15 wins, 14 of which came with duos.

I'm not saying this is the reason for the ban, but damn if both your accounts don't looks weird af.

UPDATE: Looks like i may have been stressing too much - just read riots alert under my profile here in the browser, and it reads:

Hey Heathathon,

I'm removing your post for not adhering to the Boards Universal Rule for boosting, account compromise.

BOOSTING THIS ACCOUNT - Add Me If You Are SILVER

The sharing of accounts for any reason, including for MMR Boosting, is in violation of the Terms of Use. Due to this account being compromised I am permanently suspending its board privileges. The original owner may recover the account and request boards access returned by submitting a Support Ticket.

Guess they did just think my account was compromised, so they should be able to see that it was not.

So should I wait out my current ticket or submit a new one under "retrieve compromised account"? Thanks all again for your input.

other than having the ticket open which you already do, nothing else you can really do. Are you the original owner of the account? if you bought the account somewhere or took it over from someone else in any way that may have flagged something.
