I think it would be better for the community if when someone receives a ranked cool down they can start their cool down before entering a game so in the future when they want to queue them and other party members do not have to wait out the whole cool down period before searching for a game.
Environmentalist1 votesUnless I'm misunderstanding, that completely nulls the point of the wait time for dodging queues. The point is that you wasted other peoples time, so you must wait a few minutes to join a queue.

The reason for the queue penalty is essentially riot saying "You wasted a bunch of peoples time, now we're going to waste, YOUR time" Its a penalty
