chat restriction and often reports just because of champ pick

Hello there folks,

well were do i start, i recently got some reports from people that tilted already in champ select because of my champ pick. First of all i like to play Shaco Support and the new 8.4Patch with the Glacial brought him back, GLP and Twin shadows with it is a cool thing in my opinion, plus boxes etc. But People especially at Silver/Gold (GV <- current rank, i fell from Gold4 100LP) often wont stand a non meta pick u_u

How ever, today i had some games where my whole team was flaming and insulting me already in champ select, they were all tilted and played that way as well, they blamed all on my pick even so it went actually well. How ever, all i can do is try to defend my self, ignore them as much as possible. But that happend today and all reported me in the end, blaming the loss entirely on me, while i was 5/5 and they had 3/8 and 3/10 stat etc.

Next game i didnt wanted to play a ranked, i was really in a bad mood after 3 ranked loses in a row with people blaming/flaming me while they int. So i played a normal Draft game, just a normal draft to have some fun, i wanted to see how well Glacial will work on Ezraels Q and try out Ezrael with it as AP Sup, it worked pretty fine, but again, our midlane a TF pick, started to be salty and really toxic in champ select. He said he is going to report me for the pick, i tried to calm him and remind him about the game mode, just a normal draft its not important if some one loses it, right. But he was really mad about me because of my champ pick and thats some kind of negativity i see every day in LoL, sadly :(

Long story short, he inted on purpose, trolled and in the end reported and blamed me, i was really frustrated, watched a series on netflix to calm my self, came back to the game and ive a chat restriction because i got reported to often T_T :(

Is there any thing i can do or do ive just to live with this, because its just frustrating trying to play a game having fun, playing your favorite character and getting punished for this :(

This is not how chat restrictions work. If you can provide your chat logs we can show you what behavior you exhibited that is deemed problematic. That is what results in a chat restriction.

You don't get chat restricted for getting reported oftenly when you haven't done anything wrong. The system has the ability to verify false reports, and false reports get thrown out.

What this means is that when you are attempting to "defend" yourself through harassing/insulting others, you are making their reports valid, and thus the system is rightfully punishing you, as you are harassing them.

You can use mute button so you don't read their toxicity, that way you don't respond to them.

Going off META requires you to instill confidence into your team, you can try to tell them "trust" doing champ select and check your op.gg for your support Shaco games.

Sadly nothing can be done with your chat restriction.
