riot i was just in a game where i was in middle of i long lag spike and my team told me to leave. do i still get in trouble

Yeah. Leaving/AFK is one thing that will get you punished no matter what the circumstances are. Completely automated.
Lol they were being assholes. You don't actually listen to them... should be common sense. Even if you didn't leave, they'd probably report you still for being a useless laggy player. Sorry that's just how most online games are... lagging ruins matches and whether you can help it or not, if you do it often enough you will get punished.
