Hey admins,

I have a specific request that I hope you can help me with.

I've been playing League for years now and while i'm not a super high rank, i'm pretty addicted to this game. I've had fights with my significant other about how it's very hard to split concentration while playing a game and tending to things at home, because I don't want to let my teammates down. I've tried to play while not distracted at home, and the more I play, the worse I feel.

I was hoping it would be possible for you to ban my accounts for the next few months, to help protect me from myself.

Maybe you're thinking, well this wouldn't fix the problem because you could just make a new account and start over. I mainly play ARAM and the occasional summoner's rift so I would need to devote extra time to go through the first few levels to unlock those modes, and honestly, I have no desire to do that. My issues stem from specific parts of my life that I need to address. While I work on fixing and healing those parts, I'm hoping you could help me out here.

you could always uninstall the game for now, just need to keep the will power up to not reinstall it.

Just uninstall while you take care of things at home.

Maybe you're thinking, well this wouldn't fix the problem because you could just....

As you brought up this point: If you really are addicted to the point where you can't not reinstall, then you would do everything anyways. Use self-control and discipline instead of trying to force others control, because lacking self-control is the problem and starting have self-control and discipline is what will improve your life.

Nothing short term. They either turn off the account forever or not at all.

Another option is, teach your Significant other how to change your password, and until they feel it is time for you to play again, you don't have access to the accounts.

I understand that sometimes you just need to step away, and I hope you can do this to focus on what's important to you. Riot does offer the option of locking your account until you want to use it again, just hit them up in a Support Ticket and follow the instructions over on the Account Deletion FAQ to request a Deactivation. You may just be able to uninstall the game instead for a while like others suggest, but you have this option to; I hope things turn out for the best for you!

A better option would be to tell your sig other to start opening their legs--- if you choose a game over that, then you are doomed anyways
