Perma Banned, Trolls keep on Trolling though?

Honestly, I will never understand why toxic behavior is taken SO serious in this game. You can mute and ignore players. How am i going to win or even try to win when trolls NEVER get banned or even suspended.

Sure im sour about being banned, but at the same time i lost all interest in this game after chat ban after chat ban ( which by the way some was deserving ) but I cut that shit out. But telling people not to do stupid shit or simply trying to get them to stop their behavior is now not allowed? like what is allowed? Good job? oh wait.. that could be passive aggresive. See the slop yet?

it's simple, really, do you insult some pussy and he goes crying to his mommy that someone ON THE INTERNET IN 2016 called him stupid and he stops playing because he doesn't want to get better and he can't endure to be put in front of himself? Riot games lost a customer. Do you lose a game that was important to you for ip/pride/promos/whatever? You will need to play one more additional game to get what you needed because of retards that denied it to you. And so you keep playing, and this way you are useful to other 9 players to keep playing the game with an additional member. Basically riot treats their game as a drug addiction to keep you playing, you don't play anymore for fun but because you need to in order to have fun.

Also seems that in today's society pampered spoiled idiots are the one that actually have money in their pockets, so yeah, money talks and you have no voice, and as you speak you get silenced. ~~and thinking that riot was so upset with champions having a silence in their kit lol~~

by the way it depends much on what you did actually, because statistically speaking yours could have been a sterile toxicity like "omg i'm garbage and my team isn't carrying me everyone is stupid except me", which is bad, but that's what empowers real trolls and allows them to keep going disguising themselves as legit good players that get abused.

What do you consider trolling? Some players will say that picking certain champions is trolling because they have a low win rate or because of their abilities. But hold on, if picking these champions is "trolling" than why do these champions exist in the game? (I'm looking at you Bard TahmKench Kalista ) Saying that a particular behavior is trolling is a slippery slope. The behavior has to be clearly distinguishable from non-trolling behavior in order to be detectable and punishable. For example, a player can easily troll the game using Bard. But how would this be distinguishable from someone legitimately trying to help his own team? Practically speaking it can't be distinguished.

Trolling is subjective, not objective, and this makes trolling indistinguishable from non-trolling from a detection point of view.

okay, excellent example. So let's explore why it's so hard to detect this trolling:

Nidalee may be off meta for support, but RIOT doesn't ban players based on the champions they want to play. Nidalee can be played in the support position so even if the pick is troll it isn't recognizable as trolling.
First blood. how do we know the enemy team wasn't just good or lucky? How do we know it was deliberate?
Has TP, RIOT doesn't ban players based on their summoner spell choices and how do we know she didn't just forget to change her summoners before game?
Teleports and dies again. How can we judge her death wasn't just due to the usual bad game blues?
steals cs. How do we know the cs wasn't dying to tower or that she was trying to make the best of a bad situation?
steals mid lane cs. How do we know she was deliberately taking last hits from allies?
AFKs in lane. How do we know she wasn't just having connection problems? Maybe that's why she died before too.
A bunch of small stuff: is a bunch of small stuff. How can we tell this small stuff was intentional?
He duo doing the same. duos can have bad games too.

Okay, now that we've armed ourselves with these questions, you might feel that subjectively you can answer all of these and that it was clear that Nidalee was trolling that one game and for all we know she was, but the system needs to be able to see a clear pattern to be actually able to detect it. Let's look at the match history:

5/10/3 isn't that bad a score. What I mean is that when someone intentionally feeds all game it should look closer to 0/20/0. Her KDA is comparable to someone who simply had a bad game. If we look at the stats: yes they are bad, no they are not exceptional enough to indicate intentional trolling. And then there are all her other games... game after game she does pretty well. in another game recent to the one you played, she appears to be Nidalee support again, with teleport again, and goes 10/1/6 in a game she plays with her same duo partner. The system is going to have a hard time trying to pick out this one game she played with you guys that maybe she trolled in and maybe you only subjectively felt she trolled in. The system needs a clear objective basis to recognize her behavior as trolling and it simply isn't there. The best the system can do is to rely on other subjective reports from other players in games she plays that she appears to troll in. One game of supposed trolling won't get her banned because it doesn't represent a pattern that the system can objectively verify as trolling.

And this is why trolls cannot be banned in general. Everyone has bad games and the system can't ban players for having bad games... that's the function of LP loss in the ranked system! If she's losing games she'll drop MMR. Losing games isn't bannable.

So you see? When you say "a bunch of small stuff" in chat, it's still just obviously there for everyone to clearly read - hence you will get banned - but when you just do "a bunch of small stuff" to troll in a game it's just not clear for anyone outside the game to see. You intentionally feed one kill? okay...that means nothing... you make one trash remark... pow. Chat is easily detectable, behavior isn't. in fact, we have to go back and objectively ask if Nidalee was really trolling or if it's really just you having a bad game!

Maybe you are making false reports. Maybe the system is going to question your reliability as a witness to bad behavior.

Okay so basically your only point is toxic language is the only thing you can ban because it has proof. Right... lol Trolling is trolling, you can defend bad playing all day but people in the game know whats going on. Thats why everyone else mentioned to report after the game or at least acknowledge the bullshit.

Defend the ones causing toxic behavior, ban the one dealing with it. Got it
