Forced to take Harassment

Had a toxic member on my team who blamed everyone for his deaths. Since I was JG that match, most of it was towards me.

After a few minutes into the match I muted this person. After he noticed I had muted him, he proceeded to follow me in jg and last hit my camps. I left the round after 25 minutes, knowing I would take a penalty.

The system forced me into a situation where I either had to take harassment and waste over 50 minutes of my time, or get punished for not taking the harassment. I wonder why league of legends is toxic... This system literally puts incredible amount of ammo into a trolls hands. Making the none trolls have significant less patience in general.

My team didn't want to surrender either because the match was actually even, another member was carrying for the fuck tard.

The system needs to be harsher on people that toxic, IP ban.

How many of you would have stayed in the game? Considering he was following me in JG last hitting. BTW I was playing Fiddlesticks, there was virtually no out last hitting him.

If I were you I'd sent a ticket to riot support and possibly a fragment of a video portraying the situation and ask so they remove that game from your leaver buster record. i don't know if they will but you can always try. The guy would also get banned probably.

It's super awful when games like that happen cause you re basically a hostage. I don't know what the situation was but If I were in your place I'd communicate with the rest of the teammates and if they show any sort of empathy or willingness to cooperate then you should try to make the best of the situation by working together, if this happens and you manage to achieve something as a team the troll may give up and go back to playing normally or just try harder to ruin the game, making his trolling more obvious and likely to be banned. If however the whole game is terrible and everyone is being toxic its best t just leave

Remember there are also 3 other people who may not be shitty human beings afterall so give them a chance

i had someone do that to me once. i kept playing. eventually he got bored and moved on to another target hoping that one would react verbally to him.

trolls feed on attention. if you ignore them, they go away

your leave didn't help your team one bit. all it did was fuel the troll's ego

yeah it sucks, but riot likes to punish everyone rather then just the ones who started it. reminds me of middle school quite a bit..

Riot themselves dont give a single shit about actual players, they let their automatic system do everything. I was a toxic player, i admit that, but i stopped after a 14 day ban, stopped even mostly talking at all in game. But then a single game, where i had a support that inted 3 times in bot lane then went afk, where the jungler literally decided it was better to finish the enemy raptors instead of help me and counter gank, when i was running right to him, then say "I was there dude", and later int for the rest of the game, and trap us in the game after our top laner went afk as well. Like literally run into 5 people every time he spawned, and refuse to surrender. Where the other team responded to me asking them to just push mid and end because of our 2 afk players, and our inting jungler, by hunting me down anywhere i went for the rest of the game, and refusing to end. This ridiculous game, i got reported by the other team for just wanting the game to end, and i got an instant permanent ban, From One SIngle game, when i had literally stopped talking to people because it wasnt worth losing my account. Riot only cared about their automatic system and takes it as gospel, when more likely than not, now in todays community you are going to get reported more likely for playing bad than actual toxicity. I have submitted a ticket and sent response after response, my ticket has been pushed to a second person now and all i get is a cut and paste response from someone who refusus to actually watch the game and see what was going on. Riot really doesnt care about what their system is doing, how bad it is, the way it enables toxic players who know how to bend the system. They are in it for the money and nothing else.

After my ban, i had not talked almost at all except to say "GJ' or "TY' but all that happens, i chatted this, and i get banned.

Honestly, I would've changed my mindset entirely to avoid the raging. Make a joke out of the game at that point and just rejoice in the fact that you get to report the dumbass after game. I don't play jungle though, due to exactly that. Jungles imo, catch the most flak for shit. It's the go-to role for blame, so I avoid it entirely. And I never blame the jungler because I feel their pain. It's a tough role that is more affected by circumstance than any other role, imo. Also, yes Rito needs to work harder on troll detection, but it must be ridiculously difficult to make a dent in the troll population because (not in your case, as that seems pretty obvious) it can be so easy to troll low key, making it hard to tell if you're bad or legit trolling.

IP ban doesnt work. Multiple people can have the same ip and its easy to change the ip. I would have stayed in the game. I had games like this. They loose interest quite far and i just gank more since its a 2 men gank then.

I only had this happen once, but the way I dealt with it was that I forced him into a situation where he either had to play or int feed. So either he'd have an obviously punishable thing, or he'd have to play seriously.

So I'd go ganking more often than not, and even with an item disadvantage from being starved, if you gank a solo lane, being behind doesn't matter that much when you have a 3 on 1. So like I was saying, in that position he either has to play, or he can intentionally feed for the whole team and enemy team to see.

I've forgotten how toxic non ranked is compared to ranked. Havnt played in a while, getting some normal practice in. Glad this didnt happen in a ranked game. I would have 100% stayed in that situation.
