just got a 2 week ban from this. 1 game no previous chat restrictions or punishments

was i toxic in this game? yes was everyone else toxic in this game? yes was i the worst in this game? no do i know that the behaviour of other people should not affect my own? yes did i let them get to me this time? yes

did i deserve a punishment? yes did i deserve a 2 week ban? well lets see

so in summary, only one game in the chat log never received any prior punishment or chat restrictions so maybe a 5 game chat restriction is necessary, at most a 10 game restriciton if you want to be very severe

but considering the only step up from this is permanent suspension im actually amazed. the chat log is void of racism or homophobia and i didnt int so i cant understand a 2 week ban does this mean 2 bad games is all it takes to get permabanned. its actually ridiculous. if id had known i wouldnt have dropped 150 bucks on it this morning

side note, i am under the impression that since the report system is automatic it is effectively what the "community" deems unacceptable behavior that is ban worthy. if i am wrong please correct me but if i am right then the system is ridiculously flawed because i see now that players will try and bait someone having a bad game in to chatting so that they can send a report as a punishment for playing poorly.

the sad thing is im sure riot are aware of it but dont care, you already spent your money on the skins and will probably start a new account and spend all that money again

Wow and his team still had decent KDAs. Poor team. Well deserved ban. Toxic and intentional feeder. And that chat log is definitely worth a ban.

Because, the more perma, the more people make new accounts. The little rioter takes the spreedsheet of “new” players to boss and everyone is happy. End of story.

People don’t leave, they just make bew accounts and become angrier and ruin more matches. They also learn from mistakes and figure out how to ruin your match and waste your time in ways they won’t get reported for.

With all the perma bans “cleaning” up this community there should be less horrid people every match. Instead this game is getting to be a chore. I used to play between 6-10 matches a day. Now I maybe log in for 1st win and even that is tiring.

Sure, some people don't leave. But some people certainly do leave. Not everyone wants to keep on wasting their own time because all their progress is reset again and again.

Only so many people are stubborn and stupid enough to play for spite alone, and those players tend to not stick around long.

Sounds like Riot was successful in your case. You're playing less since you've been perma'ed.

Wrong, but you can think what you want. I was perma over 6 months ago. It didn’t even phase the # of games played bro. The only thing perma ban did was make me less tolorant of all team mates, even the ones who are just having a rough game (I only flamed people who flamed me first bruv, never anyone for just making a mistake). I rarely wanted to ff in the past, now I want to ff at 15 about half my matches. Also, I don’t buy RP anymore, nor will I.

No brah, it is actually the fact that I’m just getting tired of the toxic players. Riot system is a failure and the toxicity in this game seems to be getting worse.

That snd this dnow ball meta sucks. Win or lose, it seems that 90% if all games I am in are snowballs.

So? You already were a complete jerk before, bad enough to get a perma. Which means you were a hardcore flamer anyway. So i really dont see how this is different.

Actually, the majority of my games is very peaceful in that regard, even in defeats.

Maybe its so bad in your games, because you keep emptying trucks full of oil and others stuff into the fire. Its funny how all you super toxic perma's have so many toxic people on your teams, while others dont. There just mught be a connection.

But hey, it's always more comfortable if everyone else is the problem. So easy...

Riot actually doesn't want the players permabanned to make a new account. Don't worry, I have a quote with a Riot member saying as much.

We perma-ban players that we no longer want playing League of Legends, because they hurt the community. We do not want them to make new accounts. We cannot STOP people from making new accounts though.

We do not want people who are going to blame others for every loss, and ask to report them for doing poorly.

There is no way to stop people from making new accounts, but Riot doesn't want them to.

You do know that people who represent a company have to have training to make public statements, right? Anytime they speak, especially for the values of said company, what they say represents the company's stance.

Meaning, unless the topic contains a controversial topic, it is most likely true.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they don't understand. There is plenty of evidence in the world of various Public Relations saying one thing and companies doing/wanting another. They are called "public relations" for a reason.

They do use the 10 & 25 day chat restrictions.

My guess is this guy is lying about something. Either more extreme pre/post game chat or this wasn't their first punishment. Perhaps even edited chat logs, be better if they posted screen caps. All of these are painfully common with people complaining about their bans.

If it is an honest mistake player support could probably help him reduce the punishment.
