Is Hijacking Roles Back?

hijack my role 2

I just recently had my role stolen from me in Draft Pick. I thought this stuff stopped happening after silver. I wanted to know if people are still hijacking roles your games and if so, what rank are you and how often does it happen to you? Also, what category does this fall under when reporting? Is this considered griefing?

Back? That would imply it stopped to begin with lol.

Bottom line is that if they're not "toxic" in chat, rito doesn't think they should be punished, regardless of the offense.

Shouldn't Riot reinforce their Autofill system by punishing people like this?

Riot thinks the only thing wrong with this game is "toxicity" in chat (even though it's the only negative behavior that you can actually control...with a simple mute). That's why this community is toxic and will continue to be so.

Report them after the game, make sure to put in the comments they refused to play their assigned role.

I did report them.

Nothing wrong with not playing meta. You do not decide if 2 mid is the meta or not. This guy is well within his rights to go mid.. XD

In my situation, the Zac was assigned Mid but still locked in a jungler with Smite. His comment was "thanks 4 jg" after I politely declined. The person that was assigned support went mid and left our ADC to lane by herself. The Top, Mid, and Zac were a three-man. They even tried to manipulate the enemy team into believing I stole his Jungle role. I don't think this is an off-meta strategy.

Just pick whatever role is left and report him afterwards.

He picking your role is not very good manner, but solo q is not know for that. Instead pick mid, mute this guy and report him afterwards.

No offence, but even if it is your assigned role, "YOU" decided to pick the second jungler, so you are just as useless to your team as the guy that picked your role in the first place, since "YOU" could as well pick a midlaner and be the better guy. To double pick a role, two people are involved and both of them should be punished, in my opinion

If i see people doublepicking a role in my or the enemy team, i usually report both.

The person that was assigned support went Mid and they were pretty much forcing me to play Support. I was simply locking in the role Riot assigned to me in matchmaking. Don't be bullied by people like this.
