Honor level 5 after getting a chat restriction?

So I've recently got a 10 game chat restriction which I believe isn't right because the person who reported me claimed he was going to lie about me telling him to "KYS", which I never said. I might've been a bit harsh for telling him he doesn't belong in that elo however I don't think that is worth chat restricting me for.

Fast forward to today finishing my 10 game chat restriction and I noticed during the loading screen that I had an honor 5 flair which I believed to be a bug. Even logging out and logging back in, it still shows that I am honor 5.

That does sound odd. You should have had your honor lowered after a punishment, so I definitely think you should ask support about what’s up with your honor. Hopefully nothing is wrong with it. Hopefully they treat this differently since you were forthcoming about it.

Where were you in honor before your CR?

typing kys even accidentally or out of context gets you bot-banned like immidiately but it might not "count" for your honor since its a low quality bot ban

I had something weird like this too, I was banned in february and then about a month later I jumped from honour level 0 to 4 for the weekend then back to honour 0

Best to let Riot know. They may give you a pass and let you keep honor 5 since the issues may be on their end. If you say nothing the system may just auto correct itself in the coming days
