I just played a game as aphelious. Ahri our mid laner never connected. Ori randomly get executed. The ori flashed into our base and ran into fountain so ahri got xp making it impossible for us to remake the game. NOTHING WE COULD DO. forced to play a 4v5 till 15 mins. we were winning too. Can you please ban someone who is straight up unsportsmanlike and abused the system to keep us locked in so they got free LP

I mean, it's a dick move, but...I don't think it's actually against any rule.

Intentionally dying for the benefit of your team, such as with the Suicide Sion strat, is allowed. Even if you run it down mid, if you can show it was for the benefit of your team (or, at the very least, if you can show that a reasonable person could have seen it as being with good intent, even if it ultimately wasn't the best idea) it's allowed.

Dying to make a 5v4 in your favor is very much for the benefit of your team. Absolute dick move, but simply making a dickish but valid play isn't punishable.

Riot would have to reform the rules to ban the guy, and he certainly can't be banned for this instance.

OP isn't lying, i checked the replay. Apparently you can do that. by the time ori realized ahri was not there, and went to base to get executed she only had 10 seconds to spare, so it was close. But she pulled it off. Ahri got 1/5th xp (she had minion dematerializer, thought it doesnt matter) and they couldn't remake. Shit is crazy

Huh. Never heard of that kind of abuse before. I would recommend a support ticket and this sounds like loophole that needs to be patched.

The Ori flashed into your base before 3 minutes? There's a lot to accept here if you want people to believe she did that on purpose.

That doesn't prevent remake though when the player isn't connected. Ahri must have been trying to reconnect to the game at some point during those first 3 minutes. Note that even trying to reconnect is enough to stop a remake from happening, you don't need to actually connect to the game. Just trying is already enough.

Some of you have said it isnt abusing anything. Let me clarify some things. 1 her doing this made it impossible for us to remake and ahri had never joined back. 2 doing so causes us a distinct advantage that NONE of us even realized till she said it at the end of the game. 3 it might not be "greifing" but abusing the system to blatantly make a match a 4v5 espicially when we were even winning for the first 15 mins of the game. 4 imagine an lcs game 4v5 because of someones actions on the enemy team and nothing they could do about that? does that mean its fair or fun just because it wasnt patched. 5 she knew exactly what she was doing i had no idea this was even a thing. TY all for commenting
