Na Community

I just feel the NA community is full of immature people who just flame. I got matched against plat 4+ with a plat team as my mmr is plat on that account, but this guy flamed me the whole game for being gold, mind you I've only played 20 games on this account whereas he played over 600, now him and the support was just flaming me for no reason. I was 2nd pick, took yi jgle, our 4th pick decides to take shaco jungle, so I had to go bot, although i played quite well, went 3/1 which wasn't bad, we still lost because they were too busy talking crap about me rather than playing the game. Now, what;s quite funny which proves my point is a few members didn't get their rewards, which meant they have been proved to be toxic, now doesn't that prove my point? Also I found it funny because our shaco was the one who trolled, yet nobody said a word about him, he even went devourer and afk farmed till we lost.

Please note that this happens quite frequently, even in normals on NA, more so than euw. Euw I get few toxic players, but fact of the matter is, euw players I find just comment on gameplay, NA comment on deep shit like cancer, aids, racism, you name it. I've never been cursed to the extend on euw to which I have been on NA, and I feel nothings being done about it to be honest. I also get a lot of crap about taking my favorite champion Yi, top or jungle, whereas on EUW regardless of elo, I've never been flamed for taking him.

Yeah NA community is pretty bad. I don't think EUW is any better though, honestly.

Honestly, like 90% of the playerbase is just bad. The other 10% are probably just as bad but they keep silent about it.

Every team builder game with randos I've been in lately, maybe 16? I've reported someone once. So I'm calling confirmation bias, once Blind Pick is just miles more awful.

Immaturity is not restricted to geographical location.

But you're right. As bad as it sounds, it is not difficult to see the Americans when you play online. And hey, I am American! But the things that so many of my fellow countrymen do is just plain embarrassing. No wonder there is a bumper sticker that says "I love my country but I think we should see other people." Americans are usually the loudest online. They're quick to complain if they don't get their way. Ironically, while the loudest and first to nag, they're also the first to give up if a game is even slightly out of their favor. They will also give up if the game takes too long. "Who wants to play a game for more than twenty minutes?" they say.

You don't get a lot of that from European or Asian players. If the game gets tough, so do they. The longer the game, the better they like it. Oh, don't get me wrong. You'll get your complainers in those countries. But they usually keep it to themselves. Loud, immature rants are heavily frowned upon in these cultures. At least, that has been my experience when playing games on European servers. I also play a lot of EVE: Online and most of the players on there from Europe. If you whine in that game, people don't put up with you, they kill you...repeatedly. In fact, they'll hound you so badly that you quit. And that's exactly what they want you to do: quit.
