Can somebody answer my question about T1? I'm not against him BTW.

So we all know that Tyler1 was recently unbanned from a perma ban which isn't supposed to happen if somebody just came out and asked for it, but yet Tyler still gets it even after review, but there is a reason for permas. He is a great player and yells too much but still it's like a special treatment not available to the public because he's popular. It's like a celebrity walking into a bank with a knife and not getting arrested. I have never been banned but I'm just wondering why he gets his ban lifted while nobody else can? Riot can you answer this please? I still love you but why is he excluded from the Tribunal system even after 2 years? It's not like somebody else can get unbanned after 3 years. Just looking for an answer because I saw a post from somebody asking for a perma ban lift and how they will fix their chat abuse but why can Tyler apologize and you even consider him getting his ban lifted? It destroys the entire Tribunal in my opinion.

his accounts weren't unbanned.

T1 was banned as a player, and any account caught played by him was permabanned.

Riot decided to lift his playerID ban cos they believed that he is reformed, so he is allowed to stream and play LOL again, just like anyone else that was permabanned and is still able to create new accounts. However, he never got any of his accounts unbanned.

his was a special case. what he got was called an ID ban, which is when once riot can link an account to him, they banned it on sight. youre just a bit mis-informed though, all they did was lift the ID ban, he didn't get a single one of his accounts back.

also that analogy is terrible, as being a douch in a video game isn't a federal offence.

Yea basically RIOT in the T1 scenario showed everyone how high and mighty they believe they are by attempting to ban EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT associated with him. So it is actually the opposite of the world you are describing. They specifically targeted him because he was a famous streamer and actually interfered with him on a personal level.

My honest opinion is that T1 sued RIOT but simply can't say because of the usual NDA associated with things of this nature. Like I've said before on this forum, people always have recourse in the US once you start fucking around with people's money.

He never got the actual permabanned accounts back. He does not have the Tyler1 account.

Your just believing in a huge fallacy. Your entire premise is wrong. None of his accounts were unbanned. He is merely allowed now to create new accounts and play like anyone else who was ever permabanned. There's no difference now between him and any other permabanned player, except in the past he got a harsher penalty or not even being able to create new accounts. So he's still been punished harder than anyone I've known of, but now is being treated like a normal formerly permabanned player. Anyone player can create a new account just like he had to. And I AM against him lol... dudes a huge douche.
