Just got a 14 day suspension for feeding in one game

So, I decided to play Azir mid, not my preferred role or champion. Since I know I am not good with Azir and nearly always go negative with him, I played him in a normal draft game. The game was a defeat and lasted for 46 minutes, I went 1/15/5 with 246 cs. My early game was fairly strong and even though towards the mid game I was probably 0/3 I still tried to stay relevant by farming up into the late game. However it became apparent at 40 minutes that we could no longer win, so about 2 minutes before the game ended I sold my build for 6 boots then bam, got banned after that game, received no email or any previous warnings. I loaded the client back up and it said that I was 'int feeding in these following games' then only linked me to the Azir game I just played. So, my question is, was my ban due to my bad score or because I bought 6 boots? I was genuinely having a bad game even with that horrendous score, I wasn't the only one going negative, we had a 1/7 morg, 3/10 yi and a 3/8 gp. My deaths got more concentrated towards the end of the game because they were constantly pressuring our base and there wasn't much any of us could do about it.

ps: I do not disagree with getting a ban but I think 2 weeks is a bit harsh for a first ban taking into account that It was not a ranked game.

Probably because you bought 6 boots. Everybody has bad games (even 1/16 bad), but the moment you trashed your item selection, it looks to literally everyone in postgame that you were doing it on purpose. You probably got reported out the wazoo.

Even if you weren't doing it on purpose, surrendering is what /ff is for. The game isn't over until the nexus pops.

I'm not sure why it should judge it any differently than a ranked game.

Ranked or not ranked doesn't matter -- some players take normals seriously, and you still ruined the game for four of them.

The part that gets me is that you legitimately just looked like you were having a bad game and then decided, at the very end, "screw this, I'm making sure we can't possibly turn this around." That comes off as really troll-y, and makes the entire game seem like you could have been doing it intentionally. Last 10 seconds item adjustment? Sure. That can be funny. But a few minutes before the end does NOT make you look good.

As for the immediate escalation? Chat restrictions don't work if the problem is feeding, so it makes sense that it would escalate you to the first tier that actually punishes the action you were accused of committing.

In this case it MIGHT be worth a ticket to Player Support, since I personally feel this is an edge case where you made a definitively stupid decision at the end of the game, but might not have actually been intentionally feeding. They might be lenient if you're polite and explain the situation, but they might not. It's definitely not cool what you did, but I'm also fairly convinced it's not as bad as some cases I've seen.

Bro my account got suspended because my teammate decide to troll me whe I picked baum for them. Guess what I got camped by 3 people each time. And did more damage than bot lane. And riot comes "well sir your playing baum mid and your yas support isn't trolling just taking all the cs, but baum mid and ur 1-8 getting camped by 3 people well sh*t you feeding noob. Looks like u get a 14 suspension because uryas trolled you and your team is blaming yas while he goes afk but u clearly are the troll" I swear they never ban or punish the right people. Cause you get trolled by someone else you are at fault.
