I used excessive profanity (I know, sorry) and flamed my teammates because of their mistakes. While I realize that this was a bad decision, and took a mental break before jumping into the next champ select, with a beaming 'hello!', I got kicked to champ select with a permanent ban message. I realize I went way over the top in that one game, but do I seriously need to get an immediate ban from just ONE game?!
Typically, if a player is banned after a single game, it is due to their being something excessive in the logs. From the Instant Feedback System FAQs page:
WHY DID I SKIP RESTRICTIONS? We have a zero-tolerance policy for extreme negative behavior as well as extremely offensive language and remarks made in game towards other players. Since it is a severe disregard for the Summoner’s Code this sort of behavior can result in skipping to a Two week or Permanent suspension. Suspensions of this degree based on negative behavior will not likely be reduced or removed.
If you would like us to look over your logs and give you an idea of what in them might have escalated you up to a ban, feel free to post them here. They should have been posted as part of your Reform Card when you try to log into your account, and you should receive them in an email as well. Often times, the use of hate speech (any racial or homophobic slurs) or any sorts of comments regarding self harm (kys) will bump a player to a first time 14-day or even permanent suspension, as Riot has a zero tolerance policy towards them.
ya, excessive profanity (typically hate speech / homophobia language / KYS speech) will next a 14-day ban.
If used alot within the same game, it can get you permabanned in 1 game.
I also think permas are to hard on a first offence. 14-day on the other hand seem apropriate.

Hey ! I just learned a few days ago that riot can do anything with their game ban-wise... I got banned for saying KYS twice while i didnt say anything else in chat for 300 games (since last chat restriction, I used to be toxic af a year ago, came from csgo lol) I actually didnt even know what KYS meant (im french), yet this still got me a 14 days ban.
