Yesterday I got a 2 week suspension for flaming. The thing is that everytime I flame it is because SEVERAL people in my team making me rage as fuck because I see how they flame in other languages and trolling, and you wonder how they still roams free while you are getting the ban. I think riot only considers for example intentional feeding for someone who ACTUALLY says im feeding. But in many games the oposite is true, for example I had a jax jungle (He was the only one on our team who took someone tanky) And we told him to buy tanky items cause he is the only one. What happend is that he bought full dmg. He farmed the jungle UNTIL THE GAME ENDED. Im being serius. This guy literally WAS NOT present in any of the teamfights or ganks. The only time when he fed was when he saw someone close to his jungle camp and he jumped right at him and fed. And guess what? THIS ISNT considered as intentional feeding becaus hey! The dude farmed tried to fight wasnt afk at any time. While Im getting out of my mind and just cant hold my self. This is ONE example. I just dont know what to do. I mean WTF am I suposed to do? /mute all at the begining of the game? This is sad that the real people who deserve bans are the ones causing bans to other people.

The stultification of it all lies in the fact that no matter the circumstance, if you admit to flaming, you sort of out yourself. Unfortunately a lot of social policies in video games that involve player to player interaction, it's a lot less lenient than the actual spoken and unspoken laws that'd follow a heated argument in an actual physical setting. Which means, the fact that you did something that permits reason to report, is all the reason the system needs to acknowledge the fact that action must be taken. The beauty of this is however (in spite of what I'd just said), is that under special circumstances, especially if yours ends up being true, I'd wager there to be a special kind of leniency that'd work a bit more in your favor if you send a ticket.

Keep in mind I'm speaking possibilities, not actual potential circumstances (ignore the redundancy in my words), so don't take absolutely everything I say to heart.

If someone is trolling, or being toxic, the best thing you can do is report and move on. The second you cave in, the second you deliberately rebuttal such behavior with your own flavor of poor behavior, you put yourself just as much under the wheel as the person that caused it. Keep in mind that a good deal of those that receive sound punishment are those we aren't actually given notification for. So regardless of this circumstance, if you reported him in the end, I'd wager the player would have received just punishment for his poor behavior by now.

I understand what you are saying. About the report and move on, Im moving on to the next troll game. 8 out of 10 games there will be someone trolling and you just wont be able to hold your self and the players that I do report are still free to troll.

Given the amount of players that play this game at a rather rampant pace, it's impossible to ever see this game without those who either deliberately go out of their way to express poor behavior, or eventually succumb to it, and those unfortunate to be in the same game have to deal with the result of it.

The best advice I can give is to take frequent breaks. While games are much shorter with the coming seasons, no longer the 1-2 hour spiel it use to be, it simply means the stress that typically comes with those games are compounded, not lessened. Stress leads to non-fun experiences, and shouldn't be something you force yourself to trudge through if you're already at the point of "Why am I still playing right now?".

If a game even gets to the point where you are asking yourself that question, then maybe there is a pretty major flaw somewhere that needs to be addressed.

Yeah, the major flaw are that people are arseholes, but there isn't a patch in the world that's going to fix that.

There isn't a 100% fix, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Stricter banning policies, improved matchmaking, and cracking down on smurfs would help a lot.

Yeah thats the point Riot acts like they care about behavior but the truth is that nothing has changed. as you said people will have to "deal with the result of toxic,trolling teammates". and get to the point that you cant even enjoy the game.

I don't think you're being fair. I get what you're saying, but you really have to understand how difficult it must be to rid a game of trolls, when millions of people play the game. Think of how petty the people are in your games.. how quick they are to troll to teach someone a lesson over a minor thing like a non meta pick, or being outplayed by an opponent. Now understand that they also have strong opinions and are willing to troll the game out of spite because they don't agree with Riots policies. The harder Riot pushes against trolls, the harder the trolls push back. People will always find a way to troll you. They will work around any systems that a company (not just Riot) can come up with to prevent trolls. It seems like you're thinking a little too unrealistically and your thoughts are very idealistic. Sure, we would all love to rid this game of trolls, but any rational person would understand how difficult that it is, and to say they merely act like they care, as if they are doing nothing, is just ridiculous.

Must not play many other games. If other games followed riots example and thank god they dont I'd have been banned from gaming for life by now given the kind of idiots I've seen and roasted.

The op is just repeating what has been said for at least 3 years now.

"I like league but not the player base or the company that made them this way"

Are we talking ranked games or norms? If they're trolling ranked, just report them, flaming just gets you into trouble. In norms, if you aren't trolling you're doing something wrong.

What if i just want to farm ip/chests/first win/test out a champion without having to not leave the base or else i get oneshotted because everybody is losing? Is it that fun to not play the game and call it fun?
