To be honest I've seen a lot worse than this from players who haven't even been warned. I'm not sure what Riot's criteria for permabans is. It's good that you realize now it was flaming, but at the same time, I'm not sure why this earned a permaban and the people calling me a "ch*ng ch*ng" (wow the forums actually censor those words, go figure) because I'm Japanese don't even get a warning...

Anyway, if you plan on making a new account, you might also want to come in with a backup plan. I know from experience it can be hard to break habits, and lashing out at foolish teammates counts as a habit. One big suggestion I'd make is to have something you can alt+tab to while you respawn. Something fun to do on the side while you're waiting for respawn. That way if you die due to teammate incompetence, you're not around to yell at them. As a bonus, if you die for any other reason, you have something fun to do that takes the sting out of it. (I tend to draw something while I respawn.)

Best of luck from here! Hope your IRL situation has gotten better. I know how bad life can suck.

By the way, to those trashing the OP for using real life problems as an excuse to be toxic: You're looking at it wrong. It's not being used as an excuse, it's sharing the reason behind it to help us better understand why he did something he now regrets.

When people have overwhelming issues, they lash out to vent. That's natural. It's actually very healthy to use a video game. Is it unfortunate? Sure. Does it mean Riot should overlook the behavior? No. But that doesn't mean it's not a justifiable reason for the behavior. If it's between trashing some stranger on a video game or punching a guy at work, isn't it healthier to annoy a bunch of strangers for 30 minutes and then have everyone go on with their lives as usual?
