A Thanks to Riot - Regarding "GG EZ"

I just wanted to thank you guys for allowing us to report these people. I think part of what makes that so infuriating is that there is no way to get through to a person like that just how toxic they are being. I have a bit of a temper, and every once in a while after a real bad game, someone saying that could make me... not fun to be around for a while. But having a way to help them understand it's not cool, and hopefully prevent them from doing it with chat bans... it feels like you can finally retaliate. So much stress from that situation is burned away instantly. So again.. THANK YOU!

Edit: Looks like riot doesn't actually even chat ban for this even when repeatedly reported. So I'll sit back and watch the community dive into oblivion while playing fun games without toxic angry children.

I think it's a huge over reaction from the community, how do you get stressed by someone saying "ez" lol Punishments for toxicity should be limited to those who are wishing cancer and telling people to die, to put those two kind of peoples in the same group is pretty ridiculous imo

A french volunteer (Philidia) made an experiment. He tried to get punished for saying "gg ez" with an alt account. After numerous games he hasn't been punished.

Tantram stated that it was toxic and can contribute to a punishment, however Philidia's contact, a Rioter that wanted to stay anonymous, stated that because the only toxic thing in Philidia's alt's chat were the "gg ez"'s at the end of the game he wasn't going to get punished.

It's fair to state that saying "gg ez" alone won't grant you a punishment but it can contribute to being punished if you're also toxic in other ways.

Nobody is actually getting punished for gg ez alone.

This is why the command /mute enemy exists. Even if you want to gg at the end of the game, you still don't have to listen to them.
