bot zoe goes mid and steals lane, bannable?

looked at their match history and it looks like the first time theyve done it recently. the real mid and myself were instantly tilted and the other two were premade with zoe. the real mid and i basically didnt try all game. we lost and i reported zoe for griefing.

here is the thing. the real mid and i were basically griefing because we werent trying... this is wrong but... do we just let the premade win and bully us? im not they type to be bullied. if they want to bully people out of their lane they can lose the game. seems fair to me.

nope support can take every single cs in game.

Riot will contact you, if you tell them you believe its the best way to win a game then you will not be punished.

so despite her being locked for the bot role and going mid anyway. if they tell riot they think duo mid is the best way to win then it doesn't matter?

what if i thought the best way to win was to feed the enemy mid so that zoe could get big shut down gold? as well as not getting assist or cs so that i would be worth only 50g. (i didn't) but what if?

I think that's bannable. I had a similar situation with a Nunu Mid who took Smite, stole the JG's Red, and proceeded to force our Quinn JG into mid lane.

well then where do i report this guy to a person for review instead of a robot; because clearly riot only cares about language and people who do stuff like this don't get punished at all.

yes what you did is bannable. but not what zoe did. its not your job to tell other players how to play. but it is your job to try to win. you broke the rules

so once again the troll is unpunished and anyone the troll affected is. the rules in this game are so fkd.

this is the kind of thing that makes me want to make an account just to troll people because riot allows it.

like for example basically every draven is toxic because they all want to be like tyler1. so i play anivia or trundle support and wall off their escape and not type at all. sure draven would be livid for good reason but he would swear at me and i would report him. he gets banned, not me.

just read the rules. what makes him a troll? he didnt break any rules.

the rules are the rules whether they agree with you or not. and strategy decisions are for each person to make on their own. the rules say so

No, the reason is that in mid-level Elo and higher, rotating lanes is normal and actually beneficial.

However, giving up and ceasing to try is griefing.

I suggest commincating, or next time, just go to their lane in response.

If you never try, you will never know how to deal with a situation when it comes up again.

P.S. I do not consider Silver to be mid-level Elo.

As long as its not it normals Lane stealing IS BANNABLE and you can be banned for 14 days to i believe up to a permanent

So you assume everytime people want to try composition other than 1 top 1 jg 1 mid 1 bot 1 support should be ban? What if after a patch a different composition become better? They will ban every challenger player? Riot should as well ban people taking resolve rune as primary on adc if they wanted to force meta that much

this wasnt someone picking panth or yas adc to break the meta. this was a draft pick where the person got bot, picked zoe, when mid, and said im mid please leave.

it wasn't like she said, "lets duo mid, its the best way to win." she went mid and said, "im mid now, you need to leave." despite that he was the real mid.

i reported her for griefing and explained that she stole mid; but my understanding of the ban system is that as long as you don't swear you don't get punished. you can be the biggest troll in the world 5 games in a row and as long as you do not swear, no punishment.

my personal experience evidence for this was massive troll i played with last night who demanded that he be given mid (he was adc). when the real mid said no he said he was going to troll. he took smite and followed our jungle around taking camps or sat in top lane bushes leaching xp but not helping. i looked up his account on lolking after the game was over and he had done it the last 3 games and was doing in the game he was in. after that game he went to bed. when i checked his account tonight he has played over 10 more games. no punishment whatsoever.

It's because swearing is treated by a bot, while zoe case need to be treat by human and this is not going to happen unless of massive report. Have you heard about the master yi with 100% win rate in 300 games? He duo troll as anivia + tham kench to stay low elo and held their team hostage at fontain for 300 games until they were on front page of reddit. Bot will sometime ban for stealing role and other stuff but as long as the troll understand how the bot work they arent going to be punished.

Not exactly I was effecting to the fact that people have been banned for being filled support for example and stealing a mid role or a top forcing a player to go to a role they don’t want to, it has happened before. But trying weird comps wouldn’t lead to a ban.

Just had a similar incident it hasn't happened for awhile but my jungle between levels 1-4 kept running into my lane even after being told to stop and attacking/clearing the cs giving the enemy a huge advantage tilting me to the point where it was unplayable.

Muted them for most the game, unmuted later listened to everyone bitching told them they need to stop intentionally trolling, the guy was like it's because of your champion it doesn't matter what he does just flat out ruins the game for everyone and for me being unable to lane because he keeps coming into lane and doing it.

Yes I reported the idiot for griefing and I hope Riot has filters in to deal with this type of behavior because it's really upsetting, and a waste of my time to have to deal with an ignorant kid who is going to troll all game every time I am in the lane with zero damage done to the enemy wasn't even trying to gank just running through attacking all the cs / farm and screwing me up.

Had another game with another player Intentionally upsetting me and doing the same exact thing after about 3-4 games later he comes into my lane, fails the gank, then proceeds to take CS, they know to stop, but he comes back every time I head back to lane and starts taking all the CS tilting the lane and causing the game to be thrown.

I really hope Riot is doing something about this.
