chat restriction?????

okay riot, i got chat restriction yesterday. but i dont understand why, you allow those people who were doing bad enough to ruin my game but i cant even say anything about it? our jg said something disrespectful on me even before the game started it was so nasty with gender discrimination and you give me chat restriction? my team was toxic at me the whole game, they reported me together so i got punished just because bunch of people reported me. our jg called me and my husband butt buddy and you give me restriction? our top said i was cunning when i lose and you give me restriction? i accept my punishment because i did something wrong and that's okay, but how could you be so unfair how about the players who said something really bad on me first???? how about the people who attacked me first with them dirty words?????? how could i be positive when the whole team was pointing at me???????????

Retaliation is not allowed. Each person is judged for their own behavior. The same system is judging you both, this is not them getting away with it and you getting punished. Both of you were wrong.

In the future just mute/ignore them and report them at the end.

You can't expect to be able to flame people even if "they started it!" It makes you just as guilty as they are, and you will be judged by the same standards.

Because Riot favors the cowards and the trolls. You can do whatever you want in a game as long as you don't afk or cuss. Anything else won't get you punished and Riot continues to do nothing about it. There is a reason the FBI had to get involved because Riot doesn't care.

Someone being toxic towards you doesn't give you the right to be toxic towards them. If they are being toxic, simply ignore them and report them. Retaliation is penalized just as hard as initiating, as it should be.
