Player Ban Notifications

So I believe that now when you report a player, the last person to report that person gets a notification that that person was banned right? Well, I feel like that's almost unfair and doesn't really reward people much. When we had the tribunal that we could go vote on, we could go back and check to see what kind of punishments people got, and I liked that because I was able to see that my reports and opinions were actually being listened to and acted upon. So, even if that means I'll get flooded daily with notifications that people I reported got banned, I'm totally OK with that. I wanna know that all these toxic people that I report everyday are getting punished, and that riot isn't just ignoring our reports.

I just want some form of notification that my reporting is actually doing something. In the past 5 games I've played, there's been major toxicity, intentional feeding, etc. and it's like my reports aren't even going through. I just want to know that SOMETHING is happening because if I start feeling that I'm not making a damn bit of difference, im going to just stop reporting.

Based on just checking these Boards each day it is pretty clear that our reports are working and toxic players are getting the justice they deserve. While you may not mind it, I am sure most players don't want to be spammed with pop-ups each time a player gets punished from one of their reports. Maybe a feature to opt-in to these types of reports would be a good idea.

If you would be getting "flooded daily" with notifications about your reports. Chances are you're reporting people for no real reason other than being butt hurt. Don't get me wrong, I understand that a lot of people are toxic, but I've realized that not everyone deserves a report. There is a mute button for a reason and If you are not able to ignore some of comments made in game you should try it out. I've also come to the conclusion that it's a waste of my time to report people unless they have seriously offended myself and my team-mates the point where we would not want that player to come in contact with anyone else because they could be badly hurt as well. Just one kid telling you to fk off isn't even that bad compared to the extremes. Hope you understand my point of view.

That's not how it works. The way it works is that if your report was the one that triggered a ban on the account, that's when you get that notification (I believe that's how it works; please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on there someone). Also, if you've been reading the Player Behavior & Moderation forums this past week then you'd know that Riot is in fact acting on reports, hence the number of threads people have been posting lately complaining about their bans and/or chat restrictions.
