the sad part is that this is true.
This game is dead. Give it another year or so, Riot scrambling to keep together what little they have left. It won't last. These COD kids who don't understand the game, will continue to see major changes (6.9?) and won't have as many builds or the same meta to follow. It's already hard enough to teach them the basics, warding, pushing/defending. Trying to tell them the game isn't about k/d/a is pointless. At the 20 minute mark, when everyone should be strategically pushing or attempting to make some headway towards ending the game, these newbs want to quit because "this isn't fun anymore"... because they don't feel like they're playing COD anymore...
