Do you ever have trouble playing a champion for the first time?

So I tired a new champ for the first time today and I got into a game and within about 10 min of being killed 2-3 times, I was malzahar mid and against a Yasuo. So yeah I was not playing that great but this guy on my team kept on yelling at me for not playing right and acted like I was doing it on purpose like I should have known better then to play in that match. I tired to explain it was my first time playing this champ he said oh go play against bots and Malzahar is easy and this is my first time as Soraka and I am playing great well he said he would have been fine if I did not "feed" the Yasuo.

Anyways I actually want to know if there is anyone who has had trouble learning a new champ they never played for the first time or if there is something maybe i am still missing in order to somehow know how to play every champ since it looks like everyone else except for me can know how to play a champ perfectly even if they never played it before. Or I mean are there even just some champs some of you can not play.

Ouch Malz dumps on Yas, but ya playing new champs is kinda hard sometimes, I'm used to it now as I play a lot of different champs.

Some champs are harder to play than others. Because of this, I always try 3-4 bot games so I don't look like a total derp in a norm.

Well when I go to play normals, Im not expecting the most serious games ever. That doesn't mean Im not expecting people to not try, but Im expecting people to play champs in different roles then intended. Like me and my friend will play zed and shen botlane to have some fun, and we usually do very well with it. As long as people are trying thats all I care about, its obvious you weren't inting, you just were trying to learn a new champ and just got beat in lane. It happens. If someone is flaming you just mute them.

That guys an ass. Don't listen to him. The place to play a new champ IS normals, NOT bots. Fuck bots. That shit teaches you nothing. Dudes a moron if he thinks you're gonna learn by playing against bots. I feel ya, I suck with malz. He is supposed to shit on yas, but I probably woulda got stomped too. He's a good champ, just keep playing and watch a video on him maybe, you'll get it.

I'm horrible with Amumu, Jayce, Pantheon and Rengar. There isn't much in common between them, it's just that those 4 are not worth anything when I pilot them.

I just want to say thanks a lot for your support seriously :) I was playing on a normal game not a ranked game obviously and I did feel like I was trying I was annoyed with that guy and in fact told told the guy his complaining about me was making things worse seriously it actually was if that guy did not complain I maybe could come out of it mid game but he was pretty much complaining about even the items I was buying.

There's also the issue of play styles. I can do pretty well with poke/heal supports but I really struggle with melee carries-- even the so-called broken ones.

Answering your question: Sometimes,but depends the ability is it easy to land or not. And the build too.
