I Got Permanently Banned For This?

I played a game the other day and got mad bc this guy on my team was being toxic and everyone was saying to stop. I am a toxic player myself but usually just mute everybody. This game however I felt I would test my self and I didn't mute this toxic guy. After a while of calling me gay and ksing me I get mad and say only "fggot". Now I know this is not the best thing to say even if it's not to anyone but I do not understand the unreasonable perma ban. I just want some feedback whether this is the right call or not. Deleting an old post with feedback you don't like, then posting a new one isn't really the best way to go about this. If you want a Riot response and didn't get one previously, you might want to submit a ticket to Player Support to review your case instead.

I've got DOZENS of people on a list written down who aren't banned who were highly toxic with racism, bigotry, and hate speech.

Instant permabans are incredibly rare, we're talking about a fraction of the fraction of percent that gets permabanned..... furthermore, permabans are specifically reserved to people that have a long, consistent pattern of toxicity, not a single instance. Yes, it (allegedly) has happened before, but instant perma-bans are insanely rare.

Instant permabans are not justice. They are a witch hunt so I'm thankful that they basically never happen.

I'm also very disappointed in Riot for being so leftist/feminist that they'd even consider "Hate speech" a meaningful concept.... in any case, you are wrong.

I guess you and I have a disconnect here. If I started talking with hate speech in my job, I'd get fired rather quickly. Why would I treat people I see in real life and people on the internet differently?

Being at work and being in a social situation are not the same thing, plus it wouldn't be "hate speech", it would be "anything that does not pertain to work during an exercise/sale/etc."

"Hate speech" is a myth ... but allow me to demonstrate; If I said I have intense hatred for Ted Bundy, I wish he had never been born and I am glad he is dead I am stating directly that I have hatred, wishing death on a person, would you consider this hate speech? (For the millenials, Ted Bundy was a serial killer that brutally murdered a lot of people), no you probably wouldn't.

However, if I speak out against the rampant feminism/leftism being pushed by people like you, you might consider that "hate speech" because I am against the current authority/system. That is why "Hate speech" doesn't exist.

"Hurt Feelings" is not an argument and it disappoints me whenever I see a company I admire submit to the "Hurt Feelings" argument.

Well then by that sort of logic, I could say "I'm glad the Holocaust got rid of so many jews, I wish they would all die" is also not hate speech. I specifically said that I wish death upon a large group of people and commending a terrible event in history.

I'd actually agree with that. It would fall within liberty of expression... in my country that would not be illegal or punished because (luckily) my country is not leftist/feminist..... yet.

I'm descended from a jewish bloodline and I would have no problem with someone expressing dislike of the jews... because I am not a huge neko.

But more importantly, your argument was in line with the feminist/leftist narrative, mine was against it. Your example would not be acceptable, mine would not be acceptable despite being basically the same argument, just a smaller scale.

If your last punishment was within 3-5 months or so, then this single word is enough to move you up to the next punishment tier.

The punishment is warranted because it does violate Summ Code. Another thing is use of racial slurs and bigoted insulting words are insta ban; sometimes even in cases where it isn't used condescendingly or to mean offense (like when friends calle ach other the n word, you can still get reported and punished for that). I'm also not sure on whether you have prior punishments regarding your toxicity so that could also be a reason for permaban.

I'm also going to say this; I have said that before too and have had it said to me before. And I never have gotten punished for it I don't think. Riot usually gives you the benefit of the doubt you're human and you have temper limits. Therefore if you aren't toxic in majority of your games, I'm sure they are more lenient. At least that's how it appears. I've never even been chat restricted I don't think. I got the leaverbuster punishment once when my internet was disconnecting every minute.

You should create a ticket and in the mean time play on a smurf. It isn't often they overturn perma bans but if you really show you changed and take a different approach on the game, it can't hurt to submit a ticket asking for forgiveness.

This didn't work for me, and I'm the guy who's had multiple people tell me that I deserve another shot after all my efforts.

I mean, you can submit a ticket anyway, but the best you'll get is being told "you're welcome to start a new account" (and have fun grinding out all your champs and runes again).

Now that you've been permabanned, you should proceed to level up a new account. I know it sucks being banned but with this guide, you can reach level 30 in just a little over a week even if you dont play that much. http://www.lolking.net/guides/392167
