How permanent ban works

Hey guys i wanted to know,

After getting 14 days suspension,your next ban is permanent right? Ok i understand this but these players also need a chance to improve and redeem themselves. So, i wanted to know what can they do to receive clean account status again? 3 months of no raging and abusing?If i am correct riot "Lyte" said riot would give these players a chance so if they become good after ban and go at least 3 months being how they should be then his/her account would be clean again. Just wanted to know these facts thank you.

My baby brother died from nerve cancer, and when a player in game wished that I myself would get cancer after he intentionally fed my lane, I called him "pathetic" for doing saying such a thing to me. That's all I said, was that he was "pathetic".

I was permanently banned for my "retaliation" towards this player, who continued to degrade me and feed the enemy into defeat. After I wrote an appeal asking why this was just, Riot replied telling me, "You had a choice in how to react to the situation, and you retaliated in a negative manor, therefore we will not be lifting your ban."

I seriously 100% lost all faith in Riot and the "tribunal" at that point, don't waste your time asking for favors, they don't couldn't give less of a shit.

I get reported in roughly 2 out of 3 games. I have not been punished in a very long time. False reports do nothing.

To give you an idea of what the average match is for me;

Dominick Destine (Janna): Don't go into here (Ping bush) [Watches as ADC casually walks towards the bush the enemy team is camping] Dominick Destine : (Furiously backpings the camped bush) [ADC walks into bush and dies] ADC: WHAT THE FUCK, STUPED N00B SUPPROT WHY NO PROTECT YOUR ADC? Dominick Destine: Why did you do that? you gave them a free kill, I warned you with so much time in advance man... ADC: FUK U %%% , YOU ARE WORST SUPPORT Dominck Destine: Yeah okay, I am just going to put you on ignore. ADC: WOW ALL REPORT JANAN STUPED N00B INTENTIONAL TROL FEDDING

(After game) "(Paraphrasing) You have been reported for "Verbal abuse""

This happens all the time and I am not punished .... I am not punished because false reports don't do a thing, etc. If you have done nothing wrong you will never be perma-banned no matter how many times you get reported.

The trick to never getting banned is, whenever you "Feel" like insulting someone, just put them on ignore instead. Never get baited because that is how they win.

Almost. Every 3 months you get demoted one punishment tier.

So if you aren't negative for 3 months after a 2 week ban, your next punishment would be a 2 week ban. If you go 3 more months (6 months after the 2 week ban), then your next punishment would be a 25 game chat restriction.

If you stop being toxic it won't matter. Don't try to get better... just do what you know is right. If you are unable to control yourself, seek professional medical assistance.

If you received the 14 day ban, you are probably gonna get perma banned for sure anyway. You will face or encounter trolls and get reported with or without a good reason and get automatically banned. There is many threads about it and Rito won't do anything about it. So I suggest you do like others said, play one game once in a while to stay active with mute button and play on another account for a good 3months.

3 months is the average amount of time it takes to get an account into a better status from a 14-day ban. It is not a fixed number. There is no magic 3 month check the decrements your status. It is entirely related to your behavior.

The simple answer is to just stop being a jerk, stop doing the stuff that got you banned, and you will never have anything to worry about.

Yah at this point, dont play on your account. even false reports will get you perma-banned. Even if your final report shows you clearly weren't verbally abusive, RIOT will just say that there are other logs (from your previously valid 2 week ban) that justify your perma ban (even if you haven't done anything recently). So basically even if you don't chat, and some prick falsely reports you, you could be perma banned. And no QQing on any forum will get your account back. So just get a smurf, play that, don't buy RP on that main account its probably toast anyway.

How the system works is that, if you play for 3 months without triggering the system (having multiple games of VALID reports against you), then you will decrease by one tier. If you go 6 months, you'll drop back into "chat restriction" range.

There are many people salty about their bans that will give you bad advice and false information ("waah, I was falsely reported I said nothing, clearly all reports will get you banned"--except they are calling the team idiots, calling for surrender, constantly complaining about teammates, etc.). I suggest not listening to them

My advice: Just mute everyone. If you don't chat, no report will stick. Focus on your own gameplay and try to play the best you can. Bad teammates don't get better, but you can.

Bro just make a new account. Then use your main sometimes with chat muted at all times for 3 months. Bam! 2 birds 1 stone.

I'm locking this thread as it's very old and being necroed. I do want to bring attention to Riot Tantrams response in here, though, as it's new and accurate so is relevant. If you'd like to continue discussing this topic, please create a new thread on the Player Behavior board;

Tantram what the necro are you doing XD another good reference to save though ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I've played LoL for a year and the only punishments I get are lever busters due to bad connection

Wild the Penguin6/25/2017, 6:43:19 AM1 votes

I had a game where my bot lane Fed heavily and I as jungle said to myself alright there's no point in further feeding that lane so let me be overly positive with mid and top and try to carry them to win.... well instead of winning my team lost horribly and the only thing I heard from the draven (ironically) and support was I didn't do enough to force them to win and in this spout they popped off with some crazy curses and profanity I stayed calm through most of it and actually swore only once concerning myself I all chatted the enemy lux that she got my a$$ and we laughed about it moved on and seconds after the game I was perma banned..... Now obviously after the 2 week ban I was treading on thin ice so I played 1-2 games a day and kept it really easy going to try and reform my accout to pre-ban stage but ended up finding out how brutal riot is and how often bronze players will just blankly report you I seriously doubt there's enough evidence in my last 10 games to report me legitimately much less perma ban me....

TheEvilQueen1358/24/2017, 1:35:34 PM1 votes

it's supposed to drop down every 3 months or so but remember some offenses are insta 2 week bans so i'd recommend 6+ months as a very comfy buffer

Shonjl3/4/2016, 3:10:44 AM1 votes

You just make a new account, Riot can't ban shit since they can't stop new accounts.

But I believe how it works is every 3 months you go down a rank. So if you are at the 14 day part, 3 months later you will be like 1 week penalty

You will basically have to wait a year before you are totally clean again.

My 2 week ban finally ended recently and I got onto my account today to play 2 games. After the 2 games I was instantly permanently banned. I encountered 2 dynamic queue premade teams when I solo queued. They harassed me all game and got everyone to report me for no reason. A player on the other team typed in all chat to me, "enjoy the 9 man report hahaha idiot". I had never said a single word to him all game. I posted my logs in this forum. I'm trying to get Riot to acknowledge my case but so far no luck. They don't seem to care who gets wrongly banned or reported anymore as long as they're making a profit.
