Does Honor accumulated in Co-Op vs AI contribute to building Honor levels?

I'm curious because I've been exclusively been playing Co-Op vs AI and have been the most honorable a couple of times and I still seem to remain at Honor 2. Curious if anyone has had a similar experience and/or know?

Honor is a season long thing, and will take a long time to climb levels. Yes they count, you just aren't expected to already have increased a level yet.
