Wished cancer -> banned

I was wondering if the automatic system might be triggered by some keywords, no matter the context. Let me explain. I was wished cancer from my teammates and I made the bad move to ask for a report in /all, writing something like, "this guys are wishing me cancer, pls report". I got instantly banned after the game. I am sure I was no 100% innocent because I replied to some of their insults and flames, but I really believe a ban for what I said is not appropriate. So I was wondering, maybe when I said "cancer" in /all, the automatic system would just punish me no matter what is the context? Is that possible?

Asking for reports is punishable.

Only one report is needed for the system to look at a player in a game. 1 report and 9 reports are exactly the same. There is no reason to ever ask for others to report someone, because your report will carry the same weight as everyone's.

I don't know exactly what words trigger the instant system, but to me, it's doubtful that using the word "cancer" results in an instant ban. It's more likely something related to you asking for reports on your teammates, I would think.

It takes way more than that to get banned. Post chat logs.

I uninstalled the client so I cannot post the chat logs. As I said I indeed flamed back bit, but nothing to be worth a ban I would say. It may very well be related to asking for reports, then. I didn't know it was punishable.

Wow. You are pretty unlucky there. 0.06% get banned... you should take your luck to vegas.
