I am honestly tired of getting chat restricted for saying one thing in chat. I just got banned for 14 days because of my toxicity in a normal game ive had people say worst thinks like Kill yourself and demeaning terms. I would like for you to go ahead and check the enemies chat log aswell cause i dont report for some friendly banter and if they have a problem mute me. im not saying racist things nothing there should honestly be no reason i got a 14 day ban for telling someone to "stfu" and that they are bad. What has this league ban system come to honeslty like this is actually bullshit. Like honeslty Riot i give you full permission to chat "BAN" not restrict but ban my account i dont need to chat to people. Or a permanent chat restriction. I did better with it out it. Ive gotten flamed before and i resorted to muting not reporting and other stuff. i understand to clean up the league community but do it for people being racists or telling other people they are cancer or something but honestly. Typing "?" in chat a bunch of times should not get you banned. Here is my complete chat log of the game.

Sounds like an excuse but i put alot of question marks becuase i put one after something happened and she spammed chat with them and ssayed something in chat. SO i was fed up with it ive taken alot of garbage from teamates the past games, but yea this is outrageous tbh. Ive never been banned prior to this take that in mind. everyone and a half is getting chat banned and restricted. Im going to start abusing this section of the game until its fixed. Mind you this is through out a 30 minute game so

If this was in the Tribunal years ago, I'd vote punish immediately for the spam. You are basically clogging up the chat window with spam that remove from team chat any essential system info or other people's chat. Who want to have to hold "z" to sort out your spam in the middle of the game?

I would say in this case that you fully deserve your 14 day ban. If you have been chat restricted before, then this should have been a warning to reform your behaviour... but you did not. You did not take your bans seriously and you never made an effort to reform. This can be seen through this chat log, you had a clearly negative attitude and you flamed, harassed, and antagonized your team.

You did not take your previous chat restrictions seriously and you kept flaming your team. Not only that, but you verbally abused them and directly contributed to a toxic environment.

Riot deemed your behavior violated this specific terms of use as it was deemed: " unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene", etc and you even spammed "?" and disrupted the flow of conversation in your game. Though you can appeal through a ticket, it is within their rights to do this whether they are right or wrong.

Even if your behavior was triggered by another person's behavior: you are not justified. Riot's ability to enforce their rules is independent of their actual enforcement of the rules. Because you yourself were caught, riot has already reserved the right to punish you even if they are unable to punish others for the same behavior, as you yourself were caught "red-handed". Believing that a behavior is OK simply because it goes largely unnoticed to a certain point does not make it OK: that is complacency.

The use of certain comments are considered offenses that are grounds enough for disciplinary action. It doesn't matter if you weigh your own comments differently then other people, you will be disciplined based on what Riot deems to be unacceptable behavior because they have reserved the right already: regardless of whether they are right or wrong.
