7 years of playing league and I get perma banned for minorly talking shit to a toxic duo? Ive gone through a rough time before and I really tried to better my behavior when i realized i only have 1 strike left but this is pretty ridiculous.

Just that last line alone can result in an account ban regardless of what punishment tier you were on. Hate speech and the like is not acceptable here, and is not tolerated.

Muting is to prevent further chat abuse for an individual in the current game, and is not an excuse to be toxic. If they are forced to use it, you've already become a problem. Reporting is to prevent that for others in future games.

Do you regret your behavior at all, or is "they should've muted me before I said that" all you have?

Nope I really don't regret anything at all. This whole community is extremely toxic and I have suffered from manic depression in the past 6 months or so. I was genuinely a piece of shit when i got a 2 week suspension and that i fully regret. I have tried very hard to better myself and honestly I'm proud of myself. I dont feel this is an appropriate punishment at all.

I'm sorry you're having problems in your own life, but everyone else has theirs too; they don't come here for you to take it out on them. Try to understand that and get some help dealing with it. If all you need to do is vent, there are many ways to do so that don't involve being a problem for other people.

That you don't regret your behavior is why this punishment is appropriate. Permabans are reserved only for the most toxic players that don't seem to have any interest in improving their behavior, or commit offenses that can't be allowed to continue even once more (so result in skipping punishment tiers).

nami you used to be so helpful to posters directing them to player support trying to help their case. even when they were extremely toxic players, you'd disagree with what they did but still tell them what to do if they wanted to try and repeal their case. now you're just arguing with them. :/ you've changed so much over the few years

I don't really see Nami in the kind of light you people commenting on here do. I think his responses are exactly what needs to be said. It's true, we don't know about your problems in real life, and when you make yourself out to be a douche, we really don't care. He said: You don't regret what you said/did, therefore you won't stop being punished. It's not a lie, it's not misinformation. It's reality. If he makes another account and does the same thing he'll be banned again. Trying to belittle him for some "status" he lost or whatever is just a childlike way of retaliating to the truth.

By all means, the more data you add to the system the better the system becomes. Please, continue to buy smurf accounts and flame inside chat in new and interesting ways. Well this was a mistake posting in a forum where people just come to prey on others that are pissed off. If you feel the punishment is unfair, open a support ticket https://privacy.riotgames.com/en_US/ tbf, you were recently punished. Odds are the support ticket won't pan out for you but gl, shitty games happen like that.
