Friend requested so the guy could flame more

Some guy sent a friend request to me so that he could tell me to go die over and over again, does riot do anything about that or is that just fine by their standards.

They don't do anything about it in private chat. You willingly accepted the friend request and opted into reading their flame.

So you are saying you accept friend requests from strangers for no reason at all? Of course I look at names before I accept a friend request. How can I call someone a "friend" if I don't even know who they are? I'm actually holding onto a friend request from some douche who flamed me all game for picking Taric jungle so I can accept and flame him when I pass up his rank in season 10 playing only Taric top and jungle.

Or don't accept friends requests unless you actually intend to be friends. You don't need to collect friends like Pokemon.

What is dumber than "looking at the name of every person they report" is reporting someone and not blocking them right away with the button that rito put conveniently right next to report. As if begging for attention. [fiora-cool] Extra points for coming on Boards to shame them.

I do block them.

They do deserve to be shamed (if you have the time to do that, given how small the probability of us meeting that one toxic player is due to ranks and the different queues, and how many of them you would have to shame per game, having to upload screenshots for proof...), but neither in-game or the Boards are convenient settings to do that, they are both highly snowflakey places where every inter life matters. Most official normie forums of big games do not allow naming, if you want to do it that much, best places are club chat, Discord, YouTube.

actually i hve names turned off in game and i spend more time looking through champions or reading light novels than reading their names i lobby. i wouldn't have brought it to the boards had it just been flame but i figured people advocating suicide would get a higher focus than me blindly accepting a friend request.

It's not fine, but it's tough to punish. You can try submitting a support ticket with screenshots but it's still a longshot.

Also - please remove the name from your post. Naming and Shaming is against boards policy.

Really so you looked at the game and saw a 3 9 ww full damage support with a diana adc and were like yeah thats not troll but look at this renekton who got crushed by a vlad.

Dying 5 or 6 times is a bad game. Dying 11 times is going on full tilt and running it down.

so what you are saying is everyone on my team in that game was trolling while you defend the full damage 3 9 warwick who died 9 times. and the whole point of this was him sending a friend request and telling me to die over and over. You defending that kind of makes what i said about you being a flamer sound more accurate.

Screenshot and send ticket. The thing is you accepted his friend req. on your own. After a match in which this person is toxic , you can guess that hes not sending you a friend req to be best friends :3
