I didn't play on this account in over a week and I get on to play with friends and I spammed my clan chat with the discord link and then my friends join the discord and then not even 10 minutes later I get banned for suspicious behavior. Why?

You make it sound like you were flagged as a malicious link spammer, but you should submit a Support Ticket and they'll help you out if it was a mistake.
