Defending yourself is bad?

In almost all games that I am in I have noticed one that happens in all the losing games. One or two people decide to blame everyone else. This can be a problem mostly for if you are jungle or support. This is because when in doubt everyone blames the jungler or the support. Now the worst part about it is when the players decide to bitch at someone on the team they are considered to be in the right, which is bullshit. But it gets better. When whoever is getting blamed decides to try and speak up for themselves it usually involves telling the person who's blaming them what they are doing wrong, then what happens is that the person who defends themselves is considered toxic. I have had many games where someone tries to defend themselves then the person who blames them goes to all chat and typically say "report -insert name here" for being toxic even though they are only trying to defend themselves from people not being able to recognize their own mistakes or that its not one player fault. Then at the end of the game who gets reported? The person defending themselves. Even if the person is actually doing well or giving constructive criticism they are reported. Now the worst thing is that the automated banning system tends to end up temp-banning or giving chat restrict to the players that are getting reported leading them to get angry at the and may cause them to then take out their anger on other players by say blaming them for everything for maybe only doing one thing wrong and starting the loop all over again.

It all depends on how they "defend" themselves. If they are toxic in any way back at them then yes it is punishable.

I'm to understand that it's not automated and if you did defend yourself without being toxic and get reported it will not count. However if you fight toxicity with toxicity then you do get punished.

its not bad its stupid. if you have to defend yourself on the internet, against a random person, who knows nothing about, you have way bigger problems lol

The point is to not swear or use 'flagged' words

The way you think about it. Yes.

You aren't being attacked. Some idiot is using words to make you feel bad. Mute and report them.
