League isn't the game it used to be for me

I love League of Legends. I love the champs, I love the map, I love the abilities, I love the feeling of a great play, I love so much about it. The community is the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life. Seriously. Are you kidding me? I've had to dodge three games today because of trolls. People who just want to ruin your experience. They ban your intended pick, just because you intended to play them.

They say they're going top, even though they were selected as mid. They pick Urgot Jungle and take Heal and Barrier, and all they do in champ select is type "huehuehuehuehue" over and over. What the hell. I can't do it anymore. Solo Queue, even duo queue, is just so bad. It's not even fun. I spend more time trying to find a suitable game and/or playing a game where someone just trolls and we lose and it's no fun, than I do playing a fun game with nice people in it. It's an absolute joke.

I can't anymore. Nothing Riot does is helping. It's getting worse. At first it was just blind pick, so I stopped playing blind pick, then it started happening more frequently in normal draft, so I stopped that, now it happens in ranked, 50% of the time. 50% of the games I play are lost because of trolls or afks or whatever. Literally. There is no fun in that. On top of that, when I see a troll coming, I have to dodge or wait for someone else to, but sometimes nobody does, so I'm forced to, and then I can't play for 15 minutes, for an hour, whatever.

Like, you're punishing me for not wanting to play a game that I will definitely lose and have no fun in. Why? Why would you do that to me? And then the community. I've tried everything. I've tried being nice, I've tried ignoring them, I've tried muting everyone, I've tried trolling, I've tried being toxic, I've tried everything imaginable. Nothing works. This community is just cancer. None of them try to work towards making the community better, like, 90% of people just leave the game at the very end anyway, so nobody gets reported.

I can't do this anymore. I'm done. I love playing this game, but it's no fun anymore.

I wouldn't say that. I got frustrated. We've all been frustrated. I never said that it was right of me to be a troll or be toxic, and I'm not asking for vindication either. I thought if maybe I just did what everyone else did I would have fun somehow. It was a weak moment. You being so holier than thou and sarcastic about it however, that's just malicious. I didn't feel good and I didn't have fun when I trolled or was toxic, it was a bad choice. Now how do you feel?

You being a hypocrite and easy to mock doesn't equate to anyone calling you out on it 'holier than thou'. There's no way to prove whether you had fun while you were trolling or being toxic, but it's certain the people affected by you certainly didn't.

I didn't have fun. If I did I'd continue to do it and I wouldn't have a reason to post this at all. You're just like everyone else. You're just like every other toxic player who posts threads here, you bitch about the state of the game and that it isn't fun anymore when you're the reason it's in the state it's in. There's a good reason to post this for toxic players like you - the sun is fading and you simply can't go around ruining games anymore without consequence since Riot is dropping the hammer on you clowns perma banning your accounts you sunk so much time and money into. I didn't say I was toxic every game. Far from it. In fact, for a while now I've taken to simply saying "gj" when someone does something good, and "mb" when I do something bad, because it's just easier that way. I intentionally fed one game last year, and yes, I was also somewhat toxic for a time, but that doesn't mean that I'm a hypocrite. I said that I felt bad about those actions, and it was a moment of weakness for me. I'm not proud of it, but it's a fact. The constant trolling, afking, and toxicity drove me to join in on it all for a few games. I'm not perfect. I screwed up. In fact, I quit League for quite a few months after that. Now I've come back, and the game is in a state worse than I've ever seen it, and it's really upsetting, because I love to play it. Also I've put like, 20 dollars into my account, and I seriously doubt I'll be perma-banned anytime soon. You're making so many baseless assumptions, just to rile me up. I hate people like you.

I've made zero assumptions, you're providing concrete facts such as this one:

Few games my ass. Anyway, if you're riled up it's b/c you're getting called out on your own actions. You can hate all you want, the community hates players like you on the Rift infinitely more.

Once again, you're making assumptions. That was last year, as I said. For months now I've been strictly adhering to the whole "gj", "mb" method, because it leaves very little margin for error on my part, and is ultimately very helpful. But it doesn't stop the poppy support who just keeps running towards the enemy tower, attacking it constantly and feeding the adc kill after kill. And it most certainly does nothing against the guy who rolls jungle, but decides that he instead wants to play top Annie and will feed if we don't let him, but feeds anyway because reasons. Being held hostage in champ select is just the absolute worst.

I can tell right away that you're just a super unpleasant person. You don't give a damn about my experiences, and instead you choose to label me a hypocrite and constantly berate me, entirely ignoring the fact that I openly admitted and apologized for my actions. Like. What is wrong with you. What is wrong with this community.

You clearly don't understand what the term 'assumptions' means, best you not use it further.

To your credit you're right about one thing, I care little what someone like you who admittedly spent a great deal of time ruining games for others and the community in general thinks at this point.

As someone else noted, you're not doing your part, yet here you are whining and have done nothing but flail and try and attack me in every counter post you make. You're what's wrong with this community, true colors shining through and all.

No, I'm quite sure I know exactly what an assumption is. Also, I'm attacking you? You're literally twisting everything I say into something new. You claim I spent a great deal of time ruining games for others, when I clearly stated it was only one game where I trolled, and a brief spree of games where I was toxic, maybe a few days. And I apologized for all that. You're a fucking sociopath or something.

I've never dodged EVER and I have a 55% winrate.

So you thinking you WILL LOSE because of teemo jungle is wrong.

Did I at any point say jungle Teemo made me lose? No. I didn't. Jungle Teemo isn't inherently trolling. However, when everyone on your team (this happened to me a few hours ago) puts their pick intent as Teemo, threatens to feed if they don't get Teemo, and then, well, ya know. That whole thing just keeps going. Guy first picks Teemo, they ban Graves because I put him as my pick intent (and made it very clear that's why they did it), and proceed to pick nonsensical champions for the role with very trolly sums and constant promises that they're going to feed and/or troll.

Think I'm gonna win that one?

If a game stops being fun you should definitely stop playing, or at the least take a break. Im going to assume this is the first game you played if you think this community is the worst. try playing an MMO, or FPS, those in my opinion have a far worse community than league will every have. But you also have to keep in mind that this is one of if not THE most played online game currently. There are possibly millions of people playing at any given moment. of course you are going to get people who troll. Its not different than any other game (especially popular ones) plus the fact that its free and anyone can make an account with little to no time on their hands just increases it tenfold. But it doesnt seem like you are doing your part as well. You claim people leave right after the game is done, and sadly thats the main reason why people can keep doing what they are doing. But you need to also help as well. Riot cannot fix the problem if they dont get reports of it. People seem to think Riot monitors every single match playing so they can find and punish people, when its not true. People need to help report, and it needs to be legitimate at that! Sadly there are people who like to abuse the report system which in turn makes their reports count for less and less, but when they do actually report someone it probably wont count because of their constant abuse of false reports. Far too many times do i see people report for stupid things like First Blood, or picking a champ when that is not the cause of your lost. Actually report people, and leave as detailed as you can in the message part of it! its sad to see you go, but again like i said if its not fun go do something you can find enjoyable!

I never said that I myself don't report people. I do. however 80% of people just leave the game after, so my report means very little. And no, this isn't the first game I've ever played. I've played plenty. I've never encountered such a malicious, hateful community.
