I was wondering if they would ever consider unbanning.. Riot's views on toxic reform have changed dramatically since then. Its probably been 7 years at least, I feel like I have served my time. :P

I am pretty sure now days you dont get perma ban for chat, dont think they remove your ability to chat?

You can get perma banned for just about anything, so chat still applies.

Sorry for you loss, but permanent is forever. They have done a few test runs on unbanning groups of people but not much is known about those, so they probably didn't turn out very well.

So, in the end you just out of luck in getting it back really.

Why would they? 1% does not matter nor is it relevant to them anymore. They've done things to try and like a perma-chat ban. Didn't work. They just proved they can act toxic, not only type toxic.

Acting toxic is the same as typing toxic. Toxic is toxic and it doesn't belong in our community. So expect them not caring about the minority. It's the majority Riot cares about.

Permanent is permanent, funnily enough. Just make a new account if you're reformed.

You also can definitely get banned, even permanently for chat, especially if you escalate the punishment tiers quickly through excessive toxicity, hate speech, and zero-tolerance words and phrases.

Also - searching the forums for stuff similar to this could have quickly given you the same answer.

If you got a permaban 7 years ago, that means you've done some really outrageous things. Permaban back then means you were scripting, extreme inting or something along those lines.

Riot's view on toxicity hasn't changed, they just changed the method of punishment and the punishment tier ladder.
